FF soil question

I am in veggie stage, one week in. I will be transplanting the plants into larger pots soon (2days). I I want to add FF soil to my medium. My question is should I add FF Ocean Forest, or another type of FoxFarm soil for vegging ?

i personally use ffof from seedling to harvest and have never had an issue with any of my plants thus far.. i know that some people will say that ffof is a lil hot for tender seedlings, but i haven't found this to be true.. i don't add any other nutes for about three or so weeks into veg and when i do, i do so at 1/4 strength and don't have any probs .. i increase nutes by 1/4 per week as well..

Should be fine. FF light warrior for seeds, ocean forest rest of the grow. I dont even think its necessary though I went ocean forest the whole time.

Any foxfarms can grow a plant from seedling to budding plant...i personally find that ocean forest works for my seedlings so i use it for my entire grow...im 5 weeks into flowering and buds are almost soda can width so im excited to see whats to come....so i say ocean forest all tha way!!! Grow ON!!!!!!

I think I will pick up a bag of OceanForest tomorrow with Grow Big liquid nutes. U guys think I should add some Peat Moss to the mix?

No problems starting seeds in FFOF here either. I think light warrior promotes better root growth early on though.

It's already got a lot in it in fact some people cut it with perlite so they can get better drainage. Also like racerboy said no nutes til three weeks in.

There isn't any ferts in FoxFarm soil correct?
Organic nutes and its pretty hot (thats why you wait 3 weeks). Also, I add 1tbl of dolamite lime per gallon of container (3gal pot get 3tbl dlime) just to ensure the soil stays sweet and thats the only ammendment I add in the beginning.

I dont think you need to add anything...i think fox farms got it correct i have had no ph issues no issues what so ever and the drainage is on point....the only problem would be someone who didnt get that foxfarm was packed with food for tha long run, with patience and the following of instructions fox farm should work for anyone....also im using miracle gro once a week and slowly increasing the dosage 5 bucks from Loews...i think fox farms has gud soil but all that feeding schedule shit seems fishy to me it seems like marketing(too many different bottles and shit like that) and i wont bite jus like i trust foxfarms with tha soil i trust miracle grow in getting it right when it comes to nutes...grow on!!!!!

You need to get Big Bloom at the least as well. Grow Big and Tiger Bloom are meant to be used in conjunction with it. Plus it has beneficial bacteria for your FFOF. If you were to only get one you'd be better off with it.

I personally think you should start feeding a 3 weeks unless your putting them into HUGE containers. I water-water-feed at first then after about the 3rd week of flower I water-feed-water-feed and I also top dressed at beginning of week 6. I'm not doing organic on this go around and feed them from my hyro res.
