Well i thought today was the day for me to finally get my grow on, i have basically been waiting for all my stuff to arrive in the mail. Well i finally got all my stuff, but now i find out (im such a noob) i still need to buy something for my ph tester.

I bought a hanna ph tester online from ebay for 32$...This is gonna be my first grow, so im still learning, but i assumed that when i get the ph tester, all i have to do is stick it in the water and wahlah, but now i just found out i also need to buy a calibrator and storage solution....../facepalm....so can some1 plzzz tell me there is a local store i can buy this stuff at. What do i ask for? how much is it? and how the hell do i us it lol. Ive been waiting forever to get everything set up and ive been so anxious to get started. Can any1 plz help me?

If you have a hydro store you can get 7.01 calibration solution. You can use it for storage solution as well. In a pinch you could calibrate with distilled water since it should be 7.0. Get the other stuff though.

You may need two calibration fluids, depending on your tester, as they need to calibrate a range. You need to calibrate the 4 and the 7 so you may need both a 4 and a 7 calibration fluid, if you dont have a hydro store where you can get these some good aquatic stores will stock them also. If you invest in a truncheon ph tester, no need to calibrate.
