I'm goin tO be installing some fiberglass insulation CFO insulate my walls in my grow room, and I will be unable to get anything to cover them for a few weeks or so. Would Uncovered insulation be okay to breath in? Or should I be worried? For me and my plants? I might even leave it uncovered.
Anyone here use fiberglass insulation that's exposed? Any help and advise would be awsome!

also.... Would it be good enough if I just staple or tape trash bags over the insulation? Of maybe if I just get basic spray paint and spray the insulation, potentially encapsulating the fibers?

Dude you mean the pink fluffy crap? You're already high if you're considering putting plants near that stuff. I used some in my grow too, but no plants were moved in until it was all covered...and taped...and painted...and caulked.

Do whatcha gotta do, but get it covered completely before introducing plants IMO

Yea I'm gonna cover it soon. I only started installing it today. And I already do have plants in their. Should it okay if I use like trash bags and tape it really well over it? I'm on a budge at the moment and trying to imprecise as much as I can.

I've worked with this stuff for 30 years. It's not going to jump on your plants if it's just sitting there, but while installing it move the plants out if you can. If not, cover it and turn off your grow lights. When I build my rooms I install it (remember paper facing the room) then staple plastic sheeting over the framing. Then you don't need to tape or seal the joints of the plywood or sheetrock you use to finish the wall, even if you want to seal the room for CO2 or change anything in the wall later. No messy demo needed. Just unscrew, make changes & reinstall. It saves time when you build and even more when you change things.
