Hello All,
I am new to the forum.
Was happy to find a Colorado board for patients.
My SO and I are dealing with cancer. The long term bf has bladder cancer,
had his bladder removed, then found out last week that the bladder cancer cells
had still moved to his lymph nodes. Basically, the bladder didn't come out in time.
Dissection and removal of the nodes is out of the question, according to our surgeon...
We've already been through chemotherapy and seen the devastating effects.
We are refusing to do it again. We both believe it will end up killing him faster. He has 19 months (at most)
to live if we can't slow it down.
Fast forwarding the story.. I've been studying the power of CBD's and their powerful
anti-cancer anti-tumor properties. We've decided it's time to grow it because we
can't afford to buy hash shots (cannabis oil) every week. We would like to go with auto-flowering
strains, because, A) It's winter B) They don't need the 12/12 rule, and C) Faster results.
From those we hope to make the oil.
Would any one know a good strain that might be higher in CBD content, to make the oil? I know, hard question..
But any recommendations on that, and growing methods, would be appreciated. We already
have some decent grow lights, and a warm place.. Also good soil.
We will be going with Rick Simpson's guide on making the oil.
Right now, we have 1 pound of leaves (I've read in multiple places that
the leaves actually possess higher CBD content than the buds), cuttings,
and bud clippings that were literally GIVEN to us for free from a local dispensary who really
empathized with our situation. So we will be using some good medicinal strains to make our first
batch of oil.
However, when that's out we will are hoping to have grown our own and be ready..
Any strain suggestions or other advice of ANY SORT really, is appreciated..
