I need to work out a good soil mix. Should I just ride this grow out, the 2 Bruce banner are changing light green with some purple hues in the older leaves, the el dorado is still dark green and seems better after treatment for the mag deficiency. There is a big mother I have to flower due to space constraints. I’m not sure if this is normal for the Bruce banner to lighten up and purple up in the last few weeks till cutting, or can I do some nute changes? I’ve never flushed them, only read about it. I followed the GH feed schedule on the bottle, loosely. Thank you everyone, I’ve never joined a group and the help is so awesome. I’ve been alone for to long .

I'd rinse (flush) your soil and then go to half strength base nutes without all the extras (terpenator, bestie bloom, cal mag, epsom salts).
If I learned nothing else growing weed I learned that half strength nutes from beginning to end is the best practice.
All these gimmicky extras do nothing but take your money and occasionally, or more than occasionally, poison your plants.
I wouldn't worry too much about PH in soil. That's me. It works for me. You'll see other opinions.
But I've never had an issue and I only grow in soil, indoors and out.
Thanks

Absolutely ride the grow out.
Flushing to rinse your soil of salts/excess nutes will help.
Your soil and plants are full of shit they don't need right now.
It's not a perfect science but my experience has been positive.
Just pour plain water, PH'd if you want but not necessary, through your soil equivalent to the size of the pot.
5 gallon pot, run 5 gallons of water through.
Let it dry out til the pot is light then finish up the grow with minimal nutes.
Too much of one locks out the other.
I'd skip all the extra stuff you're using.
People think I'm either crazy or a magician, but I use a 4-8-7 (Floranova Bloom) plus Recharge through my entire grow. That's it. Nothing else.

You're adding a bunch of stuff you do not need. Next grow, follow the chart. If a supplement isn't on the chart. Don't add it. Use the basic 3 part with Cali-Magic. Nothing else.

Plus the notorious Fox Farm stuff. I've never read about so many problems with people using Fox Farm. I've never used it, so I can't say more. But the weed problem section here is full of Fox Farm grows with problems.

The PH target should hover tight to 6.0ph. Going as low as 5.7 up to a max of 6.3.

Thank you so much, I’m so confused on all the different tech, it honestly freaks me out and I get way to hands on. It is so nice to hear, simply go simple, I have been trying for 1 year with limited success, and a lot of wasted money. This grow has been coming along well, better than all previous attempts.. thank you I’ll keep you posted

I use FFOF. Some grows I had spider mites. The last batch of FFOF I bought is being used for veg right now. I've got flying bugs, think they are gnats.... :( . There are no flying bugs in the 12/12 plants. Seems clear to me FFOF is the source of bugs. And another thing, it's winter here so no bugs flee in from outside.

I want to love FFOF but it's not turning out good for me.

Bagged soil is notorious for fungus gnats. I've had them with Roots 707 too ... I think it's the way it's stored and of course the environment is perfect for the little fuckers.
BT and yellow sticky traps will take care of them in less than two weeks.

I have had them pop up briefly last run, humidity was higher, I feel like I have more control in these winter months.

It sure can bomb a grow.
Grower error does not equal a bad product.

why are people recommending 6.2? Wtf are you guys smoking? 6.8-7.0. Anytime I’ve mixed my GH nutrients the ph is usually ~6.8 without adding any ph down

i struggled too untilI I switched to organic. For me it’s just easier. If you want to use bottles use coco IMO. If you want to use soil use organic amendments

I’m also using Ocean Forest but no bugs for me so far. I do use a ton of beneficials tho.

Similar boat here. I've been running FFOF the whole grow with some additional top feeding of FFOF and Dr Earth Life. The leaves aren't looking too hot, but the buds look nice. They aren't quiet as frosty as I'd expect so I was wondering what I could add for the last 4-6 weeks.

Check out the grow if you want to see more details. :D
