Fill jar up and pack or fill jars partially?

I had a question regarding curing buds. Should I pack my jars up fully or just partially?

you can fill the jar up, just make sure they arent packed tight, when you close the jar you should be able to shake it and all the buds should have some movement.

Leave a couple of inches of space in the jars... and don't pack the buds down.
