Fill Up The Tent?

I'm just coming to the end of a scrog grow and considering doing a run of Autos.

My tent is only 60cm x 60cm - would it make sense to put 9 pots in there for autos? I'm currently growing 4 clones in 30cm square 18L pots. I think I could find some nice tall pots 20cm diameter/square to fill the space.

Also - maybe I should have asked this first - can anyone point to a good guide on growing autos? :dunce:

Depends a lot on the size of the autos, if you are unsure id go for fewer plants. Id do no more than 5 in that area personally unless you have a lot of seeds and wanna try a sog.

I'll be buying seeds for this - all the same strain...

Can someone just give me some basic pointers? I'll be growing in Coca with Canna nutrients.

Do they go straight under 12/12 20/4 - whatever, or do you start with a small veg stage?

Lol - I'd have to get my math head on and work out the size of 5 circular pots into 60x60 square Good old Pythagoras (who said what you learnt at school is usless!) - 5 round pots at 28cm :)

18/6 20/4 24/0 are the normal times most use. Just pick whichever works best for you .... I and a few others just run 24/0. Just simplifies things I guess

Id start out light with the nutes, nothing for first week after you see seed above ground, then start with 1/3 for at least another week. Dont overwater and keep the lights fairly high, let the plants grow to the light, unless you want really dense bushes, but that adds potential problems down the road. Course this all depends how much light you have. A little stretch pre flower can be a good thing, IMO. Run lights 18/6 min up to 24/0 depending on your environment and what you can afford. If you are using LED, keep temps about 5deg F higher than you would using HID in the tent. Dont let temps drop below 65f, 75-80 is about ideal, if you are adding co2 you can let it warm up a little more.

I have two 10 gallon totes growing 4 plants each. You got this! Total grow space for all 8 plants 3 feet by 2 feet.

Those are like bus boy tubs ? Or storage bins ? Been trying to figure out how many holes to cut for my aero think I may cut a shit load extra incase I decide to run clones sog or somethin you think you could fit 6 in each tub ( talking about the top half I know the roots would fit)

Pack them sombiches in there :D

(these are 1 per .5sq ft)

I think 1 per square foot works out pretty well for most. Remember, you can always chop extra branches off, you can't add more if they're too small though.

They will utilize 24/0 lighting without issue. The difference in 24/0 and 18/6 is $20 extra electricity per month. So consider if 25% longer light is worth what dinner for 2 at mcD's costs lol.

What about the initial growth from seed to under 24/0 - would you throw them straight under 24 hours! Presumably dimmed lighting and build it up over a few weeks?

Start with whatever light cycle you plan to use for the whole grow. If you have a veg setting on your light, you can use that, if not start with the light slightly higher until they get their first true leaves, then it can be moved closer. Too many variables to tell you exact distances etc...
