Hello

Just planted my seedlings yesterday and 3 of 4 still have that film over them and not letting the leafs to open up. Should I try to peel it off or should i let it be? Kind of scared of breaking the root lol

Spray them twice a day with water they’ll be fine. Don’t go trying to peel the seeds off.

Had the same issues with all 6 seeds that came out of the ground. I personaly read not to peel it and spray it. But I pealead it anyways gently with tweazers it worked but defs more risky

Be very careful if you do try to peel the shell off, seedlings are very delicate. As said above spray with water and see if it softens the shell up enough to fall off. If the water doesn't work, use your saliva. Saliva stays where you put it better and stays wetter longer.

as stated spray them as a last resort peel it off. spraying softens it up to allow the leaves to push through it. peeling it off is very risky and can damage the plant if you are not careful. never had this issue before but with the seeds and usually they grow right through it so the seed gets stuck on the stem i usually just pry it off after a few days if anything
