Filter Smell HELP!!!!

maybe your carbon filter sucks. but i bet the problem is having to do with the whole you carved in the floor

is she free of leaks with the duct in it? or is it cut crazy with cracks between

From the little bit of fun I have had on this site I can tell that there are a few very smart people on here and a whole bunch of stupid heads. I guess smoking grass does make the majority of people idiots. But I know some of the smartest people in the world do so wish the garbage men of the world would stop smoking it. What a ridiculous thread....the smell is worse after you added a carbon filter, that is strange.

Before you were running the carbon filter what was sucking the air out of the room..

oh, and BTW, I'm going to ignore all previous posts and try to move forward. Lotta shit talking, not a lot of productivity.

Is it possible that weren't moving the air out of the room before properly? Possible that can filter you bought was really old and just chillin' in the hydro store for years?

Possible your plants have much more stank than they did a few weeks ago?

Wow, lots of assholes on this thread apparently cant understand English.

First off, how many CFM is your carbon filter rated for? And how many CFM is the fan?

When installing the carbon filter did you make sure to shake it really good to loosen up the carbon pellets?

It sounds like the problem could be

A: fan is too big/powerful for the filter, can be fixed with a fan controller to reduce fan speed.

B: Carbon pellets are all compacted and need to be loosened up.

C: You have air leaks in the line around your fan, can be fixed with Aluminum foil tape.


Also did you build this filter with one of the DIY methods using prefilter pads? Because those things dont work at all.
