final harvest....what can i do to make denser buds?

well everything i had hanging is dry and in jars.. final weight is 1lb 2 oz.....my buds did turn out like i wanted them too.... they were covered completly with tricolms but the bud were kinda fluffy.....what can i do to tightn them up next time?

Getting more light to the plants and having the light closer is supposed to help make the buds tighter. However, alot of people prefer their buds to be a little on the loose side so they are easier to work with. Person preference I guess.

6 people might say you can have too much light and a half a dozen might say you can't. Seems to me that as long as it's not burning your plants you can never have too much. That's just my opinion though.

also... i was told that a 400 hps is too much for a scrog... i thought i sounded silly but wanted some input from some experts....

ive got a good supply of fresh air coming in and the old air constantly being moved out...can i run two 400 watt on a 15 amp circuit?

Theres quiet a few grows on here with 400 watt scrogs with great results I plan on doing it myself when i get my other 400W

the fluffyness is from the heat. add an outtake on a thermostat.
It could be lack of light aswell. just look at the shape of the bud.
Overdrive or budblaster with make your weed denser

There should be a plate on your ballast that says how many AMPS it uses. You should use no more than 12 amps on a 15 amp circuit. This would include everything on that whole circuit and not just at one outlet.

I hope i dont get crucified for saying this because im not sure but from my understanding flufflier buds have more surface area and more surface area leads to more resin glands which leads to more thc which leads to fear which leads to anger which leads to stress which leads to doobies which leads to twinkies. :p

lighting helps usually more lumens will do the trick or maybe letting it go an extra week..plus putting the light really close to the buds and feeding lots of carbs..maybe a bloom booster that promotes denser buds...good luck and keep it green

nothing is too much for a scrog. Some people use 1000W for it.. More light makes denser buds. Strain also has a lot to do with it. Some strains have much denser buds than others. What strain did you grow?

i grew pineapple chunk..... the buds look like they have been rolled in sugar but are really really airy looking.....the buds actuallly have a very strong citrus smell.... guell thats how it gets its name......
