Finding a new Dr.

qualified patients and/or their primary caregivers may possess no more than eight ounces of dried marijuana and/or six mature (or 12 immature) marijuana plants. However, S.B. 420 allows patients to possess larger amounts of marijuana when such quantities are recommended by a physician. Any of these pot doctors will sell you a card for a few hundred dollars that states you can grow 99 for a co-op and they give you some bullshit speech about it costing more because they show you how to set up a non-profit. I've yet to find one that will go with state law and recommend more for personal use. I've asked my P.C.P. and my GI but they are afraid. Money isn't the issue my wife makes more than enough for both of us, Its just bullshit that they try to make you set up a co-op and won't actually recommend more to seriously ill patients with out the extra BS. If some one knows a doc that will please let me know! Any where in Cali, I will travel! My county doesn't have any extra crazy rules, just the state laws. I paid the extra money for the 99 card that says I'm a co-op just to have a card for more but it's kind of a lie.

This guy:
http://dreidelman.org/Health/

He is NOT cheap. It's $250.00 for an evaluation but he's the first that would give them in Los Angeles before it was ironed out with the DEA and they were threatening to pull all the MD's DEA Schedule license if they so much as mentioned the word Cannabis. In certain specialties, like anesthesia, lack of this license makes it practically impossible to practice so it was a huge threat to many actually practicing MD's. Call his office and ask if he will write a recommendation for 99 for a non-collective.

Thanks a lot! 250 isn't bad, I paid 300 for a 99 card from med rx/c and 250 just the other day when I renewed at Cann-medical.

Thanks, that's much closer. I'll be able to head there this weekend instead of booking a flight. Cann-medical is the closest to me, They are fast and cheap but it's mainly the dr. trying to sell you some tincture.
This doctor is cool. Ended up hanging out with him for about an hour. A real activist type, but looks like your typical grandpa/doctor guy. $175 is a pretty decent price for 99/5.

Very good price if you're comparing them to other places. I paid 300 at med rx/c for my first 99 card then I just paid 250 at Cann-medical to renew but they are both for co-op grows.

What do you need beside money for the 99plant limit? And how would it be any different if my county allows all patients 10x10 /99 plants ? If I have other peoples cards and I'm a caregiver for them in a county were 10x10 grow space for each patient is allowed will I be allowed 10x10 for each person I care for? Or will standard state laws apply?

from what i understand anything over 99 plant is federal territory and should be avoided at all cost scripts or not just my 2cents.

Wouldn't it be a trip if a regular doctor decided how many capsules of whatever drug it was that you needed he would prescribe for you based on how much you were willing to pay?

Just so I understand, what's the difference between growing 99 for personal as opposed to growing 99 as a co op?? And what do you say to your DR to get this 99 for personal????

It's not about worrying what to tell a doctor anymore. That stuff ended in 2009. Now all you have to do is say "yes, I'll pay the required fee to grow 99 plants". Of course you have to find a doctor who will write those scripts, but that isn't difficult.

The only difference is the wording on the card. My 99 card says that I'm a co-op and growing for others, so I would have to have other patients cards along with my 99 card. The card for personal is just that, they are all mine.

I use the Cool California Dr, they are willing to give you more for personal use if you require it. Call them and ask, phone calls are cheap.
