Can i put my month old plants in 12/12 to find out the sex and then put back on 24 hour veg after confirming females?

you can take a clone and put it under 12/12 even without roots itll generally show

You should be getting clones from a mature female. Meaning they should be showing already. If not... you might wanna keep one if they are female to grow out as a proper mother.
