Hey guys whats up,
Its been many months of preparation and planning but the time has finally come to start my grow journey. I finished constructing my grow cab and i have to say i am pretty pleased with the results. I'd love to hear some feedback so i'll tell you guys what i did.
I started by buying that cabinet from Goodwill for 50 bucks. I then layered the walls with styrofoam panels and attached them with screws and washers for sound and light protection.
After that I taped up the cracks and light proofed the box with black electrical tape and weather stripping.
The next step was to attach metal loops to the ceiling of the box so i could hang everything. The metal loops come when you buy a deadbolt set. These are like 2 bucks a piece but i did have to buy 8 of them...
After the loops were in place, I then wrapped the 4 inch inline fan with insulation and tape in order to reduce sound and attached it to the ceiling with bungee cords. No vibration noise is a good thing. After the fan was up it was just a matter of hooking up the ducting and flipping the switch.
And finally, i went to my local hydro shop to start stocking up on the supplies i'll need. I picked up Fox Farm Big Bloom, a thermometer and a pH meter. All for about 50 bucks so that's an ok deal. M next trip i'll prob grab some FF Grow Big and a badass timer.
What do you guys think? Before pictures dont have a blanket on top of the cabinet while after pictures do.
Oh and Meaghan and Kate were my first two gfs and the first two girls i ever loved so it seemed approriate...
