Finished my Samsung Build have a few questons

So i just finished my samsung strip build and I made so many noob mistakes along the way. I had to improvise on my build as I messed up and cut a few of the aluminum angle too short.

How serious is it if I dont have the strips pararell to the aluminum angle? I wanted the strips to be flush but I messed up on the framing. So the strips are horizontal. I was just anxious to power the thing on but won’t be able to use it anyways for another week. I can go back and get more alum pieces and cut to size and put them on.

Man, I would get some metal backing for those strips...
I know some say it isn't needed, but they can get hot enough to burn your skin like that.
