just because you "willingly" gave "plenty to your country and state" in no way makes it okay for you to steal water. A lot of us could make that claim. there are plenty of veterans on here that have given years of their lives and lost family and friends in war. You were already compensated for the things you "willingly" did, either in form of a paycheck or personal satisfaction and honor, but not tapping fire hydrants.

After meeting up with a good friend of mine and checking out the abandoned house it looks like the well was not where i thought it was and we can work on it discreetly and he is positive he can power it with my generator. So I have a solid agreement with him to help me get it running and he'll get something back on his investment.
So all in all it looks like i won't be using the hydrant after all, still think its a good idea but like most others here I would say don't do it. Im just glad I was able to find a good alternative.

Lol which is more illegal... Hydrant or someone's home? Maybe you should just keep your illegal activities to yourself

With 84K per year, you'll be able to afford whatever fine you get for theft and trespassing. Then, there's the bad reputation you'll receive. But, you don't really want advice, do you? You sound driven to do this.

Its not someones home and hasn't been for prob 20 years. The property has an old abandoned home that is condemned and the location has been rezoned for light commercial and is for sale as a commercial property..... so no I'm not taking anyones water supply. Any company no matter how big or small will more than likely have to hook up to the city's water main at the road. And if you want to talk about illegal activities I think between hooking up to an old water well and planting/maintaining cannabis I believe the water is the least of my worries.

And if i get caught I'll no longer have that job. But it has been said many times "if your not willing to risk it all, then you don't want it bad enough". Again the theft and trespassing is the least of my worries in all this, but I know what your saying. The only thing I'm driven to do is feed the plants the best that I can. Any water that I am/was/are going to use would be a small amount because i'm mostly relying on nature for rain. This plan is only a back up for really dry times.
I can see my rep here is taking a hit but I don't really no why, I haven't done anything and what I no plan on doing isn't taking anything from anyone, could be compared to taking it out of the creek/ water table.

If your gonna illegally grow weed on or with someone elses property or water, why not illegally grow it on yours?

Ive done several outdoor grows without watering or feeding. And they actually did pretty good..Just throwing that out there
I could care less how you get your water.

If this year goes as plan then I will be next year. Also using a well that I will pay to have drilled on that property.

with that income you should have enough to buy your land already, sell your current place and buy property that you can grow on. I had to, you can to. I'm not against gurilla growing just not stealing to do it.
