First AG Grow Week 3 VEG Status

so my question is when your growing with a hps how high should the light be off the plants.

and also i was wondering if you can germinate in an aero garden because when i started my grow i started it in soil then switched it to ag i would have to buy the master garden kit ?

I would do the paper towel method then plant into the AG

and the master garden kit comes with extra sponges and those plastic grow net type things

I have never gon HPS so im not sure, i would just looks around

alright thanks sicc so you'd say the best way is germ. in paper then get the garden master kit and drop the germenaited seed in it?

alright thanks for your help ill inform you guys when i get my seeds and start to grow it heres a picture of my setup changed a few things. 250 watt hps ima try to use the ag with the 250. pyt a few fans behind the light for intake outtake. then by the ag unit i have a intake outake. i also left 2 cfls for the side of the plant until it gets bigger and is to close to the light il take it out. i am going to lst and top them. im only going to grow 1 strawberry blue and 1 L.a Woman.

i started my first grow dec 6 in aero garden 3 pod unit.......one plant (bubbleisious) besides the aero light i have 4 100w hps lights & 2 fans......its about a foot tall or so & very bushy,so bushy i didnt want to try to clone on my first grow...3rd set of leaves are like an inch down....lol.....have had a few minor set backs where lower leaves dried out ,somw wilting,flushed a few times & not sure why but some tips are a little yellowish.....the 3 pod unit is a bit small as i have to water 2 times a day & the roots are about to come out......the set up is under my basement steps...(think the wife has seen it).....started to flower today......took one light out & added a 70w hps (hope it helps) & 2 led stop lights 1 red 1 yellow who knows if they will help.......not sure how to do pics as i am old (53) & getting ready to retire april first from my cdl job so wanted to have a little smoke as it has been a long time..........any comments thanks

Aight thx guys I have put a 6 inch airstone in the res and got some better nute I'm using General Hydroponics 10-5-14 got rid of those junk AG nutes those things suck. I have seen a major imporvement
