hello everyone

Im a new Grower, Attempting with CFL'S, Heres some pics of my setup and My plants, there all Bag seeds in first attempt ;-). im Currently using (4 23 W daylight, 2 26 W daylight and a 16 inch, 15 W Aqua light..the bigger plant is 16 days old in these pics, i just transfured it into a bigger container,Check out my setup and lemme know what you think of it and my plants, also the other plants are 2 weeks and a week N 1/2 old.Grow room is covered in Mylar. Any input/comments are always welcome as im pretty new at this. :leaf:
Also had a question should i be running 24/0 or 18/6? ive heard both not exactly sure on what to do, as of right now its on 24/0. gimme some input on this plz.Thanks to all who do help out :bigjoint:

Yea they have been on 24/0 for 16 days now. well the big one has, i think imma change it to the 18/6, when you do the 18/6 do you leave you fan running still or turn that off?

leave the fan running 24 hours...it will strengthen the stem even when its sleeping..now when you change the cycle just keep the lights on until you want to change..the little bastard will figure out whats going on..also, do you have a timer?

ok thanks for the input i'll leave the fan on while lights are out. and no i dont got a timer, im just gonna turn them on and off myself. i usually go to bed at 12 and i gotta be up at 6 for work everyday so theres my 18/6 :)

Ok what up everyone, just posting an update on how my plant is doing, i posted some pics of the plant on the 27th, these pics im posting for this update were taken 10/29/08, 2 days after it being in my new mylar room/new light setup!Here the plant is 19 days old! Currently im running 6 26W daylights, and 4 23 W daylights,wich is like 16,000 Lumens, Gimme some input on how my plant looks. i'll be getting a humidity/temp gauge today after work.Also i switched my plant to a 18/6 and that seems to be working great for the plant!:weed:
Also i have pics posted in my profile with the new setup, i would have posted them here but dont got those pic's on my work pc ! :P

how are temps?

keep them under 85 and you're gtg.

look forward to seieng how this turns out for you, you should start a journal

Thanks bro, temps are between 80-85,and humidity is like 33-40,i just got my temp/humidity meter last night after i got off work, i've added a clip on fan for an exhaust to help keep the temps down and it seems to be working well!bongsmilie

these are just bag seeds for my first grow, the big one was some Super good regs, the others were bag seeds of some good chronic, i currently have 3 seeds of a strain called "hurricane" germinating right now, its a Really good stain from the stuff i smoked of it! so we will give it a try and see what i can turn out , and if all goes well with that one, then im gonna order some seeds from nirvana!:eyesmoke:
Also just bought that book called "budsforless" so i can't wait for that to ship in!!!

just joined and am looking forward to a similar setup.

Nov. 1st... First indoor try ever. have just about a week or two of troubleshooting out of the way i think. Have seedlings just not doing their thing yet. (struggle mode for some reason) bought some real soil and nutes. am using just 23-26 watt cfls hoping im getting enough light seeing as im not worried about the yield the first time just the process of getting through it. Have started so many times in past fifteen years(always outdoors and just messing around with bag seed, but never been in a place i could finish. Of course im hoping for some results in the decent beginner range. any help out there? wgere do i start my own page like u did if u could help it would be great.

Hello everyone

im posting an update on my plant and its growth! i measured it today and she's 4 1/2 inches tall and getting nice and bushy, i wanted to post some pics i just took tonight "11/1/08", here the plant is 22 days old just over 3 weeks!
Gimme some input on how shes looking Thanks to everyone that's replyed.for the new guy that just joined, yes just start a new thread with with info/pic's and im sure myself along with all the others that have helped me will head you in the right direction :mrgreen:, if you have any specific questions lemme know and anything i can help with id be more then glad!

plant looks lush and healthy.

leaves are a little droopy, maybe you just recently watered. either way not a cause for concern but pretty much the only piece of criticism i can give.

Ha Ha correct i had just watered/sprayed them down with a spray bottle be4 pics. temps are hanging around 81-84, humidity was 44 when i just went in there, everything seems to be working great at the moment! any comments/conerns are always welcome Thanks for comments:leaf:

Yo what up everyone, heres an updated on my plant its day 24 and 6 inches tall! today is day 1 of Flowering, we will give that a try and see what happeneds! as i've stated this plant as a experimental plant, the yeild is not important on this grow yet just would like to successfully grow and harvest, i happened to read a page of "seemorebuds" and they put there plant into flowering at day 16, at only 4.5 inchs tall, so im asumming mine is big enough and healthy enough to start! i'll keep you guys posted as we go though out this process, gimme some comments/concer's if ya got them ! Yo what up everyone. just updating this, today is day 25! 2nd day into flowering,and im already seeing some Nice growth in size!im excited to see how this goes,:eyesmoke: any comments/concers im open for! thanks for all who looks/posts.Heres a pic i took off my iphone this morning :)

Hey everyone

im back and posting another update!its day 26! and the 3rd day of flowering! shes growing like Crazy, it's about 7 inches tall today, and looking good!:leaf:
i have some flowering nuts and it says to use them a few weeks be4 harvest, should i follow this or start now. once im home i can post the name and the stuff it says,for now im just gonna post a few pics i took of the plant this morning be4 i left for work :-D

Hello everyone!

Im updating my post, its now day 30, and the 7th day in flowering, not sure yet what sex the plant is and hoping to find out very soon;-), she's now 10 inches Tall! and growing at a very RAPID rate, i have taken some new pics of my Flowering room to update with aswell as some pics of the plant:leaf:.
ive got some Flowering nutrients but dont wanna use them to early plus im not sure if its male or female yet so we are kinda waiting on that!
in my Flower station im currently using (6 23 W, 2700K, 2 23 W, 6500K daylight's , and a duel 48 inch overhead with 1, 40 W 6500K & 1 40 W 3000K).
with a total of 19,250 lumens. thats about it for now so here's a few pics of the new Flowering room and my plant!
