Yes they will just like if you topped a plant in veg. But this time to purpose is to get light to the underbud and make it fatten up to max potential. It can take a month for it to "recover" from the topping and finish up the remaining buds.

So I think my plant had a Mg def so I added some cal mag and it hasn't grown any maybe a half an inch in the past 2 days. can anyone help me please?

Is this set up fine I have a 400 watt Mh and 4 23watt t5 lights. There on for 18 hours and in a closet 3x4x10. I dont know if this would be over kill on the lights or very good first hydro grow. So I'm still working out some kinks.

What are the spectrums of the T5's. Do you have plans for a 400 watt HPS? Very nice plant you have. What strain?

already have the 400 mh and hps the t5's are 6500K have bloom tubes for them also 2300K but there not in there yet. its a blue mystic strain.

I've head good things about that strain and now I see why.
So right now you are banging them with a lot of 6500k power. There is some benefit to have more of a balanced spectrum so if you have some 2300k I might mix them in.

so should i just put all 4 in and leave the 400 mh? would that make it grow big and yield good?

Is a constant drip good or should i shut off the pump for a while and let it drink from the rez?

Well thanks for the tips mosetlycrazy i switched the tubes on the t5 to the 2300K and the 400mh is like 2 ft from the top of the plant. hopefully she'll start to grow again. thanks again!

Consistant drip is fine. If the roots are well into the res you can even take the pump and feeder tubes out. Air pump/stones only and treat it like a DWC.

Not an exact science on that. I usually do it for the last res change. Some don't do it at all.
