That's a nice harvest you got there Pukka! Good job on the manicure also. Trimming sure is a long tedious task(for me anyway). Looks like your on the right track to drying and curing. Good luck. My suggestion is to try and get a mini hygrometer to put in your jars. I have this one
It has a magnet on the backside so I just move it from jar to jar placed inside on the lid. I wish I had a few more. I bought this one at a cigar shop. Anyway nice job on your whole grow! Can't wait for that smoke report. I'm definitely gonna try a G13 haze in the future!

Thanks buddy, i didnt mind the trimmin at all really kinda liked it lol!!.........cheers for the tip how much are those mini meters??,.....i'd recommend the G13 h go for it lol!!

Dryin good mate i think the outside of the buds are startin to dry now stalks are still bendin im thinkin maybe tomorrow or thurs might be ready for the jars,....... thats all ive been smokin since about last friday all quicked dried but still real tasty and smelly so got high hopes for the cured stuff mate!!

What up Pukka? That mini meter was about $25 at the cigar shop. Not sure of how many GBP that is. You are in Great Britain right? Anyway I find it to be very handy, just wish they were like $15 I could use a few more.

The difference is negligible between the two. You may lose another 3-5% of your weight once the cure is finished, but it also depends on the moisture content when you begin your cure. If your stems are still bendy, you'll lose more like 5% or maybe a hair more.

imho you should wait until the stems snap before you jar it coz if you get that hay smell you can't get rid of it no matter what you do. It would be a travesty if such an amazing plant ended up anything other than perfectly cured

when your steam snaps right trought the buds and you hear a very nice scrspy sound with it thats when you want to jar em, BUTT just keep in mind they will dry a little in the jars to not much just abit, so dont dry hell out of em just till the steam snaps and its not bendi no more, how many days have you been drying for now?

After doing much reading on the subject, my opinion and many others is not to wait until the stem snaps but to wait until the bud feels dry on the outside and the stem still bends then jar them up and cure but you know me Pukka dry for 7 days - SELL. lol

I would jar them just before you get a crisp snap mate, I use that philosophy for everything in life; you can put the toast back in the toaster but you can't uncook burnt bread! There will be some moisture left in the centre of the bud which will spread to the outside of the buds in the curing process. How're they looking mate?
