well the temp has leveled back out at 82.5 right now. i moved that reflector up about 1.5 inches and it seems to have made that difference. as for this HST i am just pointing them toward the rim of the pot so that i can train them. i really didn't bend them hard or anything they still seem to be doing fine too. heres a pic i got from somewhere (most likely on this forum) if how the LST will lay down on the rim of the pot. i really only plan on training the main stalk to follow the rim then flower a little after it makes it around and starts to grow up. i have plenty of seeds maybe on my next grow i will do a small sea of green as you suggested. i just really want this yield to be worth my time and LST seems to be the best choice. and i think this reflector will work for now seeing that the heat isn't that bad. only time will tell i will try to update again tomorrow with pics. i won't be changing pots either.

DAY 20

today i bent the plants a little more about an hour before the lights came one. these pics are about 4-5 hours in to the light cycle. the temp had jumped back up to about 86 but still hasn't topped 90 so i won't worry yet. the babies seem to be doing just fine since there stress from yesterday and today's bendings.

two things that worry me....

they seem to be growing a little slow especially the one that seems stunted and not growing at all with only like 2 nodes.

AND

the yellow i know you can see it now and i am starting to worry. what should i do in the now for this problem?

i had a problem like this and it was over watering, i havent watered my plants in 4 days and ive already noticed lots of growth in those days as i was watering almost everyday. which i think about its a weed, it can survive with out water for awhile. at walmart they have a lil temp/humidity gauage for 6 bucks and its digital works awesome heres a pic of it in the upper left hand corner, i have alot more cfl's but i dont have sockets for them yet :(

i am pretty positive that i am not over watering them.

so i bought some superthrive it says 1/4 teaspoon per gallon is this correct. i know everyone says do like half strength so like 1/8 per gallon. or like 1-2 drops per nice cupful? this also says to add to fertilizers. so i want to use superthrive alone or do i need plant foods or whatnot?

also i got the Ph test kit. they didn't have any ph up or down except for the pool (big bottle directions for 20,000 gallons +) so i will have to pick that up later.

ok so i just did (about)1/4 teaspoon of superthrive in a gallon then gave each baby a little. didn't look like much superthrive for a whole gallon but oh well. turns out i have been watering with PH of 7.2 all this time. is this going to be a big problem or will it be ok when i start to give the proper PH? any help i would love. i need to know what to do from here.

i would suggest getting some kind of small fan in there giving them fresh air. once you fix the ph problem and let the superthrive kick in i think you'll be in good shape.

2 drops per water bottle i would say that is like the 1/4 teaspoon per gallon. ok then and i will just hope for the best with the superthrive. hopefully it'll help them catch up. they are really starting to lag behind a bit. and yeah i was looking for another fan today at walmart but i couldn't find the damn fan section. i'll check again when i have more time. thanks for the replies. i'll try to post some new pics tonight then i'll have something to go by as to if they are getting better or not.

oh yeah how often to give the superthrive. every time i water or like every third time?

i don't think they are too small. i am just bending a little to point them in the right direction. plus this is adding light to that side of the vegetation which is where i want it to be. plus this also makes it less stressful later so rather than bending a big plant a far way i am bending a small plant a small way. and i will start to add the superthrive every time i water. hopefully i can get the PH up and PH down soon. as i said walmart only had the stuff for pools.

yep that is before superthrive....didn't think to do it after. but hopefully i will be able to PH my water by next time i need to water my babies.

ok so it has been a couple of days. i can see noticeable growth on most of the plant since giving the superthrive. the temps are still peaking kinda high at about 88.7 this morning. i really have to figure out the heat soon. as of now doesn't seem to be too big of a deal. no time for pics sorry. will try to get some when the lights come on. all in all i would say all is well for now.

ok so i had to give a little bit of water today i only gave a small bit because i haven't been able to PH the water yet. here are two crappy pics one of the whole thing and one of the plant doing the best. i can see growth since the superthrive and there was some in the water today.

so when i watered them i moved them. i came back to have a look see and noticed that one bulb was on the plant. i burned a small bit on three different leaves. doesn't look too bad. no time for pics. anything special i should do. all i did was move the light so it didn't touch.

ok so here are some pics.

the first two are of the burn. like i said not too bad just wondering if i need to do anything to help her out.

the next three are the other three plants. the one with only a few nodes isn't looking that great. looks like i tied it wrong and it generally is just looking stunted. considering killing it and replacing it with another what do you guys think?

and the last is the PH down i got today. i have no clue how to use it though. directions say 5 ml (i think that is a teaspoon) per 10 gallons. i generally only can mix 1/2-1 gallon at a time so how do i use this? and is my PH supposed to be 6.8 or what i have forgotten.

i am worried about all this yellow can i assume that this is due to my bad PH and that it will correct after i get that right. i am already about to LOOSE a few leaves. and should i water really well with the PHed water the first time to try and correct my problem.

sorry for so many questions and such a long post but i want this to be a success.
