First CFL Grow

if u invest in a 400 watt hps you could easily pull 1-3 ozs.. plus you could get rid of all those cfls :)

now thats the size ur looking for!

Thinking of cutting the top 5 nodes off the biggest plant, and cloning it. is that a good idea? thinking about putting the clone + 2 other plants into flowering, but keeping the "mother" in veg in another part of the shed.

it depends on if you plant on investing on new lights...

go with the 400 watt from htgsupply.com .. they are VERY much supported here on RIU. I searched for weeks till i finally decided to get it. It works amazing and Im still using it today.. give me a second, ill find it for you, its like $140 after s&h

just wanted to add they have LIGHTNING fast shipping and it is very discreet.. you def. cant tell its a light. 3 days to anywhere in the US

only like 3 weeks i think.. dude get it if u can have or can save the cash.. the light will absolutely pay for itself by harvest time plus much more ;)

140 might be a bit of stretch for me to shell out in 2 days. Might have to stick with the 368 cfl watts i had planned.

hahaha. listen to Dark and myself and you'll succeed! :-P btw you will eventually need way more than 3 42 watts for every plant.. Light is SOOO crutial to the growing process, I really dont think u understand... Read this to understand it and ull be 100x better off..

Things to know about lighting

Approximate light production:
Incandescents: 17 lumens/watt
Mercury vapor: 45-50 lumens/watt
Fluorescents: 60-70 lumens/watt

How many lumens does an LED give off per watt?

Quick question. How would one of the UFO LED lights do for an arewa 3x3 or at most 4x4?

And if known... which one is best for $$$... Tryin to save...

Thanks in advance
