From 27th October (Day 29)

evidence of prenodial branches and full development of calyxes

I have also attempted my pinch of the top main stem, this has been partially acceptable, as it has not stunted my plant, and she has recovered, but I'm not sure how much the picnh will create a secondary main stem. Wit any luck it may just develop my alternative cola's more? whilst still miantaining a main cola. :S

I guess Time will tell I shall have new photo's to upoad tomorrow so stay tune.

As always comments, advice or questions are welcome!

31st October (Day 33)

These photo's demonstrate the ability this plant had to flourish and blossom in literally a couple of days or a week or so. Astonishing work from my newly dubbed Caroline :) haha

Would feo recommend these seeds to anyone for first time grows. RhinoSeeds or The Attitude seed bank - Low Girl Advanced Seeds.

So is pinching an alternative to topping, what are the pros/cons

Also are you going 12/12 from seed or what cycle do you have them on?

Hey harveyjarvey,

yes pinching is essentially an alternative to topping, but with topping you can potentailly grow two new main stems from the severed top of the stem, which can maximise and re-distribute yield. But pinching can cause a re-direction of energy to cola's without threatening the main stem, so in essence, pinching stunts the plants for a couple of days but then it explodes then next week after, becoming more a of a bushy plant.

As I'm growing an auto-flower from seed to about 3 inches, I gave her 12/12, but as seen as she past a seedling, she has received 18/6 the whole time. She is also smelling pretty nice nowadays. I rolled home last night at 4.05am, like a drunken pig, and could smell her from my hallway, :S

Hey guys,

I have a minor update. There has been some signs of nutrient burn on a few of my leaves so I cut down the amount of nutes and flowering stimulant by 2ml and .75ml. I have given her 2 waterings since and has been doing better. Also a few times now I have come home and found my baby gettin close to the light due in part to her rapid growth and also my ill-ease at which i lift my light. Either way It has not become a major issue.

She has started flowering already. Her first signs of calyxes were on Day 22, Budding has started now, but is still rather minor, but smell is on the up. It's apparently boasted by the seed bank that this particular strain can be yielded in 60 days from seed, but I predict an extra week for my particular baby.

Yeah that one bulb has been good to me, provides ample light for 125w, especic. as it's in an enclosed closet.

This particular picture you can see my pinch point on the main stem. This has been rather succesful, but unfortunetly it is too late to attempt another :)

16/11 - Day 49 Grow

Vast improvement of buds. Have started exposing true pistils as they are turning orange, very slowly but surely. Slight glaze of sliver over her minileaves which is great :)

ok so the seed bank which i bought this (attitude) strain has advertised a 60 day growth cycle from seed to harvest. I am on day 58 - and approx. 45% of pistils have turned orange, so potential to harvest tomorrow or on saturday but many people have told me 60 days isn't enough. Should i go by the seed bank or wait. This is my first grow so im prepared for advice. How long can i leave the harvest before it should get done.

Any help or advice greatky appreciated.

Well, if the seed bank says it should be ready in 60 days you should listen to that and most importantly if you see than the plant is ready, looking at the pistils then there is not much more to say. Maybe the people who told you that didn't know that you were working with an auto strain. Certain strains can definitely be ready in 60 days, that's for sure ;)

So just look at the plant and she will let you know when she is ready to harvest, it will also depend on you if you want more of a body or head high.

It's Harvest day mofuckers!!!!

It has been a long journey but we have made it - the quest for harvest has finally arrived. Off just this one Low Girl auto dwarf (not so dwarf in the end) I have taken a fine yield

:)

Please comment ;)

well by the end of it the plant not so much a dwarf as measuring 3ft 5inches which by my books - compared to some low ryders i have seen - and friends have grown i would have said my Low Girl was much taller than expected - to the point where i had to change grow rooms for height issues.

Would definitely recommend my light though. 125w flowering CFL. - has done brilliant work for my grow - remember to completely white out your area (or mylar).

I now have a week of drying to endure before i can cure her - then the magic will begin
I have quick dried on of the smaller buds to get a sample of her strength.

damn it! you are right man, definitely too tall to call her dwarf I would say. Around 12 inches sounds like a nice height to call a plant dwarf. I may try some lowryder when I finish actual grow coz they are really small and they also seem to be quite stable. those 125W bulbs are mean to be great, I may end up buying an 105W bulb instead because of size limitations.

Any future plans ?
