First Closet Grow

but what about the plant that was bent and snapped, will it be okay? i know that the burnt plant should do fine, i'm just curious to see what will happen if the meristem is severed

I snapped the main stalk of a month old plant and it actually healed itself. A good method is getting a large drinking straw (mcdonalds). Slice it length wise and cut it down to fit inbetween the closests top and bottom leaves. It will act like a cast giving support while the plant heals itself. Tying it to an upright stick will do the trick as well. If that doest work, cut down its height knowing you tried.

so i decided i'm just going to start flowering after 5 weeks veg. i put the plants in a 24 hour dark period before the lights started 12/12 this morning.

when i went to check on them after they had been in the dark for 24 hours, the bottom leaves of two plants weren't looking so great...here are pics, does anyone have any opinions as to what could have caused this?

and on the two bigger plants the edges of the leaves are turning brown and crunchy. nute burn? heat stress? i have no clue...

other than this the plants have been doing good, new growth all the time. especially the one that was cut in half by the falling shoplight.. it looks like it has 6 tops now, and they are growing fast. here's a pic:

and the plant that got burnt by the cfls is doing better too:

so i switched to 12/12 to find out the sex of my plants...sad news...ONE female. the female plant was actually the worst plant out of the ones i had so i decided to start a late lst thing and put it back into veg...here are the pics

the plant that got cut in half is female! when i found this out the plant was already reallllllllly rootbound so i transplanted it into a bigger pot. all 6 tops have little white hairs sticking out.

RIP my favorite plant....i kept him around for a while just to make sure he was really a male. i trained him kinda funny. i topped him a while back and all the branches outgrew my growspace so i bent the main stem back and tied all the branches down evenly to make a canopy that sits against the far wall in my growspace.

mmm tuffy man id say start of if there still in them cups using the littlest possible bit if any like maybe a half or a teaspoon remember even a tiny lil bit will help then u can see if it has an adverse affect if not use same amount till bigger and just keep upping your amounts if u see signs of burning don't panic just don't do it or at least that much again wait a few inches alrigt peace i just started this profile soo i'll have a few off my plants up in a while

my plants are starting to show very different scents. one is very skunky smelling and looks like a indica/sativa mix while the other has a very sweet smell and very skinny sativa leaves.
