Just got my Ph solution and my pen was off 2.4 on the chart. So when I was thinking I was at 5.2 I was really 7.6. Also raised my fans because I think I see some windburn on the Bd. Let’s see how they react with a properly balanced Rez.
Let’s see pics and don’t just adjust your ph with up and down you gotta correct the issue I would drain reservoir add new water with nutrient solution With proper ppm and if it’s not at the right ph within an hour at the most then add your ph up and ph down and never combine the ph up and down if you ph your water from 5.5 up to 7.5 using ph up Don’t try to correct that by adding ph down you have to do a full flush as in nutrient change and start from scratch imo you should never have ph up and ph down in the same reservoir I believe it creates a nutrient lockout even if your ph is on and all those salts and bases aren’t good for the plant
Middle plant is the Bd we were originally talking about. Left and right are new ones.
So Av customer support says my Rez can float from 4.7 to 7.7 and still be giving my plants the correct Nutes needed of following there feed recommendations. Since it’s supposed to be Ph Perfect they recommended no ph up or down if within those levels.
I don’t agree with that I’ve been using advanced nutes for 5 years I’ll adjust ph if it’s really high or really low but it usually stays in the right range for me because I use the ph perfect as well. But all I use is part a and part b with hydro guard I try to keep it simple but that’s for my veg for flower I use canna
Hey man! You were very helpful and as my second attempt is starting to flower I was wondering what ratio of your advanced nutes / ML per gal you’d be using a little over a week into flower.
I base it off of Ppms lights and plant size do you have the amount of light you can tell me and show a pick of plant size sorry been busy with my outdoor haven’t been on in awhile
If your lights aren’t putting out 1400 watts that’s too high of ppm they look over nuted to me too much nitrogen that why the leaf tips are curling and they’re so dark what lights are you using?
I think u don’t have enough light for the amount of ppms u have are the roots looking healthy?
Dang I thought that was heat stress and a calcium def. That was right before lights came on. I’m using 2 hydrocrunch 240s. I can’t find how many actual watts they produce but I know they are cheap. I don’t have anything to compare the roots to but I think the are ok? I’ll get a pic when lights come on. Was trying not to post blurple pics. The picture I’m about to post are a few weeks old but best pics I have of roots.
Idk about chlorine I’ve always used h2o2 and Hydroguard or some other beneficial for root growth hasn’t failed me yet I’ve used voodoo and rhizo as well for beneficials
Is that a ok amount of watts for a 3x3? I plan on making a change when these finish just didn’t want to start upgrading stuff before one successful one crop. Attached is a pic of the roots I took yesterday.
I have been using hydroguard and hydrozyme. Will look more into chlorine. Thanks. This being my first run I am trying to keep it as simple as possible while covering all the basics. Do my roots not look good? When you say fried can you explain that a little better. Do you mean the roots or plants or both? From heat / nutrients? Sorry just trying to get some understanding.
