First DWC grow

How long at just tap water? And yeah that mob boss looked killer.
I've heard ABF's take on it as its not needed. But I see him more as a cash cropper than personal smoker. If i'm wrong in this assumption, my apologies, but the volume he goes through leads me to believe he must sell some of it if not a lot of it. Or else hes providing a whole community with meds, lol.
Since I will be smoking this bud I would like others opinions who smoke their stash also.

I'll have to say though , I'm a little jealous of your grow even though the mob boss did turn out nicely. I'm gonna tweak some shit when I get back to hydro. dropping the 1000 watt light for good I think since your power bill is a deciding factor when they issue warrants.

Haha, thanks man! It wasn't too long ago I was looking at yours and some others journals in envy shaking my head at why I couldn't get my room to look like that.
Been plugging away at this hydro thing since November and this DWC since January. Took me a while as i'm a perfectionist and really hard on myself so i'd often just trash a grow because it wasn't going how it should. I didn't wanna just grow weed, I wanted to grow beautiful plants to their fullest. Not at that point yet.
See this is what gets me with "legal" states. It's not legal federally so I wouldn't even want to participate in a state legal grow and put my name on some list of growers and make it that easy for those feds to come bust me whenever they pleased. Naw fuck that noise. If I grow for personal consumption and I don't tell anyone well there stands to be no reason why I should ever get busted. Yeah theres RIU, but i'm a small fry on this site and I don't think they would want to waste their time on a 4 plant grow, lol. Especially with my states lenient drug laws. No mandatory minimum for 1-50lbs for first time offenders and a max of 2 years. Yeah 2 years would suck, but if i'm on the lower end of that scale I should be fine for a slap on da wrist.

Its good to be small. That's all I want out of my garden, my own personal use. Sure I'd like to turn some just to pay for a few of the expenses of running a grow because we all know that can get pretty crazy, about the time you got all the shit you need shit starts breaking and you need new shit. But I'd like to do it not in fear although my fears aren't to overwhelming I'm sure I bounce in and out of compliance a time or two. fucking plant count and all that shit just complicates things anymore. In a "legal" state or in Colorado anyway nobody has access to the registry, I hear that's about to change . I think it should change in a way that the law knows where the grows are but until something else happens there besides just growing , something threatening to someones well being, then they should stay the fuck out.

Really? I was under the impression the government could peeksies if they wanted to.
And I thought if you were a caregiver for patients you had to be on public record, which would just make you the target of every home invasion from criminals.
Its no big deal about the clutter, people will just have to go back a page if they want to see my newest update.
I hear ya on the costs, I got almost 4,000 tied up into my small time operation. Thats what I smoke in a year, so it was worth it to me, and I didn't skimp and bought all quality parts that I researched for weeks. Plus not having to deal with flakey drug dealers like today is invaluable. And not have to buy mexican dirt if I didn't feel like spending 500 that month on good weed. And, no cartels are making money off of me. How doesn't this get the governments panties all wet when weed legalization is discussed? If we were self reliant we wouldn't need foreign weed. Which makes me think they're in bed with those criminals.

Ah ive never looked at individual licenses or other states, I was looking at Rhode Islands regulations one day as that's the closest MMJ state near me.
So I was looking at FCJ for the first time under the scope just now and boy is that thing full of trichomes. Theres these white hairs covering the orange hairs, looks like trichomes but not fully formed and missing the head.
Saw some amber on the Bubba 76. I'm going to run a flush on it(you never said how long you flush yours for there DB!) and hopefully next week I can chop, end of week 7. I wanna see how much the FCJ swells so imma hold off on that one until week 9 or 10.
I'mma guess 14grams on the Bubba 76 which is pathetic considering the plant is 3ft+ right now and topped twice, once during flower. She got stressed somehow, early on I suspect, and hermied, pretty common for that strain from what people have said.
The veneno and FCJ I hope to pull atleast 3 oz each off of.
PE I hope an oz atleast, was only 9 inches when I put her into flower. Hoping for a half pound to hold me over till next harvest.

I am with you FirsttimeARE. I am growing for personal consumption only. I may bless a friend or two with some, but this investment for me is all about no longer giving money to the weed man, being subject to what he has and his schedule and riding from his place to mine dirty. Problem for me is that I am sinking money into this and still buying herb (Just copped some Apollo 13 today). But I know the long view is that this shit is going to pay for itself hand over fist if I get this thing right.

I decided i'm going to do DWC for a couple more grows until I switch to my flood tables so the Chronic Haze will be going into flower soon, possibly i'll make room tomorrow, still got 1 seed left if I want to mom it out again. I'm going to give the Afghan Kush some more time to gain some height, probably 2 weeks it looks like. Need to change those buckets tomorrow.
Next run is Dinafem - White Widow, G13 Labs - White Widow, White Label - White Widow and another strain, not sure.

It will be tricky since I only have room for 4 plants so I will have to start them around week 2 of flower on the chronic haze and afghan kush. Tis what sucks about staggering grows i'm coming to realize.

Bubba76 is a frosty manbitch, shit yield, not sure about other phenos if there are any, haven't researched it. Maybe regular seeds would be more stable.
I started a flush on it last night, so i'll have a smoke report on it in 3-4 weeks. I'll do one with a 1 week cure and another at 2 weeks. If it lasts that long, I bet I get 14g or less off it. Although that resin must weigh something

Believe me, I can understand the addiction. Everytime I peruse Herbies or Attitude, I get tempted to place an order. I have a wife, however, who keeps me in line with the temptation to buy a bunch of different type of seeds. I had to do some pretty hefty convincing as it was in explaining how the bagseed grown is a 50/50 proposition at best (I got 3 males and scrapped the 4th before finding out when my seeds arrived) and a waste of the money I've already invested in the project (Lights, inline fan, filter, etc).
My next order is definitely going to be something from G-13 or Dinafem. I keep reading excellent reviews and the stuff I've looked at from them looks very nice.
