First Dwc - Sour Blueberry and Chemdawg!! 400w closet grow

Hey RIU,

Wasn't going to post this grow because its my first go around with hydroponics but i decided to anyways.
I have done one other previous grow in coco but wasn't that successful.
Plants are Humboldt seed organization sour blueberry and Chemdawg, both vegged for about 1 month (Didn't start tracking days till Day 1 flower).
Been keeping the pH around 5.6-5.8 in the res.
Had a nitrogen deficiency as u can see in the bottom leaves in the pics.

Equipment:
4" s400 Can-fan with Air-cooled hood.
400w mh and 400w hps bulbs
Apollo 400w dimable ballast.
4w and 3w dual output Air pumps

Nuits and Supplements:
Floranova Grow and Bloom
Botanicare Cal-mag Plus and Liquid Karma
Hiesenburg Tea (used Aqua-shield, Great White, and Ancient Forest)

looks good so far man. My best quality and highest yielding plant was ChemDog that I grew last year in DWC. One plant nearly 7 ft. tall huge yard long colas that delivered about 12-13z. It was also the most potent weed I've smoked and I've had my share of good bud. I know four people/friends of mine all veteran smokers that got so stoned they got sick and every time 3-5 people were hitting a fattie I rolled. It wasn't one toke for me, normally I'd have four or five hits, not big ones either because it was so strong. I have grown some berry and just finished some bubblegum autos that despite small yield the flavor and smell was off the chain and there's still some curing in the jars and they just smell better every day but their high isn't in the same class as your ChemDogs, Chronics, etc. I like having a really good tasting blueberry or my bubblegum plus something else that's a bit stouter and likely doesn't smell as good as the gum. I have become quite fond of rolling a blend of BubbleGum and ChemDOog or BubbleGum and SuperSkunk which nearly done and I'm going to enjoy those over the holidays.

Hey what's up man I've heard a lot of good things about this strain and the plant a look real good bro .. I'm new to this page and I'm a new grower and these two strains are the ones I'm aiming at the most! How was the finishing results of the chemdawg and sbb ? Strong in smell was it a great smoke did they taste good
- Oh and was she hard to grow and picky with the nutrients I want to fun 2 chems and 2 sbb under both 600whps and 600wmh

A damn lot better than my first DWC grow for sure. What brand air pumps do you use? Mine are a bit noisy (WalMart pumps). I had a Fusion 700 on my last grow that was really quiet at first, but it sounded like a lawn mower by the end of the grow.

Im also using a 400 watt apollo dimable ballast. had it about 2 years now and its gotten me through 5 harvests now. Just wanna know what you think about the light and if youve ever taken it apart and noticed melting of the wires and electrical tape on the inside.?
