I've been lurking on here for a while and am about to be in a position to invest in my first ever grow. I have read plenty on here but threads with 199 pages are a little daunting!
What I've after is some advice on setting up. I have a small attic room that's about 5-6 foot high by about 5 foot x 3 foot wide. I have decided to go LED so with budget constraints I'm happy not to use the whole area. I'm sure a couple of decent plants will be fine as there's only 2 of us and we're not heavy vapourers.
I'm based in the UK so fancy the Plantphonics 140Watt panel as it's just about affordable. So can someone either point me in the direction of a good build diary/guide I could copy, or at least tell me what I'll need to get started with a panel like this. The small room is completely sealed and insulated and has power in it. So for instance I'm not sure whether to go soil or not, do I need and fan and or some sort of ventilation system, there just seems to be so many variables and I get a bit lost with all the jargon too.
So I'm after a nice simple set-up which I can then develop over time if anyone is prepared to help me get started.
