First Ever Grow - Super Newb

I recently decided to try to start growing MJ and thought it would be interesting to record my progress. This is my first grow ever so any help and advice is much appreciated :).

My super-newbie closet setup:
  • 5 gallon nursery pot
  • BioBizz light mix soil
  • 45W LED grow light (20/4 light schedule)
  • 6'' clip on fan
I will be using Fox Farm Liquid Nutrient Soil Trio for nutes

I am growing just one AK47 Auto plant from seed. I germinated it using paper towels and planted it directly into its final pot on Friday, 10/7. Today is day 8 from when it sprouted and here are pictures that I took yesterday (Day 7):

I'll try to update regularly. In the meantime don't hesitate to ask questions or help me out with my grow :weed:

Update 10/19:
Today is day 9 and I'm seeing some noticeable growth. More importantly though, my friend came up with a nickname for my plant. He named it Shaymin after a grass-type pokemon lol. So Shaymin it is! Anyway, here are some updated photos from today.

Update 10/24:
It has now been two weeks since Shaymin sprouted and I think she's looking pretty good. I watered her today with about 3/4 gallon before it started to run off. No nutes yet, just tap water that I let sit out for a couple days.

10/31:
This marks the 3 week point. A lot of growth since the last update. I'm noticing some of the lower leaves are drooping and the upper ones are developing curved edges. The humidity and temperature in my grow room stay around 35-40% and 75-80 degrees. Not sure what could be causing these symptoms.

11/1:
Watered Shaymin today with about a gallon of water mixed with a half dose of the suggested Grow Big (6-4-4) fertilizer.

11/15:
I added two small 14W CFLs to each side of the plant. I think she's starting to show signs of pre flower but I'm not totally sure.

The tips of some of the leaves turned yellow a couple days ago but I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Yup those are female pre flowers. Looking good! I also wouldn't worry about the little bit of nute burn on the tips. Go easy on the nutes for a couple more weeks. nice first grow
