First ever grow

I am using miracle grow soil and cfl's(1-42w 5500k, 2-27w 2700k) for veg stage. light time is 18/6. Started out with 5 seeds(bagseed) only one germinated and it is currently growing.
my room is 3' square and 4' high. Getting a 400w hps in a few days, will swap the cfls out for the hps around week 2 or 3

any comments are welcome

pics of my baby girl so far.....:smile:

got my new hps, turns out it is a 250w hps. this will be fine but not quite the 400w i was expecting. $25 usd so i guess i cant complain

good luck man.. if you have any more seeds lying around you should try to sprout it, give yourself a higher chance of getting a female. .

new pic, grow has been accelerated since i turned on my 250w hps. light /dark is still 18/6

i also made a new seedling box for my new 19 babies. I hope to get at least 4 females out of the bunch of em.

seed/clone box is a cardboard box with 4 cfls and a pc fan for exhaust. 2 42w cfls @ 2700k and 2 27w cfls @ 5500k. The box is 21"x15.5"x13.5"(LxWxH) I cant get a pic because my light is on and my shitty phone camera cant handle the light.:wall: ill post one tonight, maybe tomorrow(once my dark cycle starts)

the fan is on the left its an 80mm case fan lights on top is 27-40-27-40
