So I’m making my first ever earth worm tea went and bought a fish tank air pump a pale but I didn’t buy any air stones I just have two hoses in the water bubbling so I guess my question is do you need the air stones or is just a hose fine?

get a pair of pliers and heat them up, seal the end of the tubeing and then pierce it with a needle creating your own version of an airstone. simples

i dont think its nessesary to have many holes for airation, but i would make my own with the pliers anyway

You will get better results with a actual airstone.the smaller the air bubbles are the better they diffuse and mix into the water.

go go kid gave a nifty idea in the mean time

damn this sounds genius do you make your teas this way regularly?
no i havent as yet, but my idea was to use the tubeing along the bottom of a fish tank annd just fill it full of holes along the length of the tank so it covered more of the bottom liquid.
i use comfrey liquid, nettle water. i put worm liquid from my worm bin in and the liquid from my bokashi bin

If you've got enough leachate from your worm bin to feed regularly your moisture level is too high. I'd guess you're feeding too much for the population.

Your bokashi is going to produce leachate, that's good, but shouldn't be a regular thing from your worm bin.

Airline floats unless you buy those suction cups for them.
I’d just buy two $1.39 airstones and call it a day

I know but I’ve been putting in at 6.5 I heard it needs a higher ph using dry amendments so it doesn’t kill the bacteria
