That's pretty low. Maybe you accidentally grew some LABs along with whatever else is in there? My guess is that it could conceivably happen if your liquid medium wasn't well aerated. The pH of the LABs I grow often gets to the mid-to-low 4.something, but that's with cabbage, hot peppers, or baby cucumbers. We go through a lot of sauerkraut, hot pepper sauce, and pickles in this house. I also make all sorts of LABs using meat, but the pH rarely drops below 5.0 after 48 hours of incubation which is good enough for my purposes.
