Ok, so here goes my First grow journal. I will have pics throughout the entire process, as well as descriptions of the pictures. Next week I will be getting my lights, as it is my b-day and I will have money. right now the babies are a week and a half old and they are sitting on my roof/patio, where their is atleast 6 hrs of DIRECT sunlight each day. they are responding really well, and really using up their water. the picture shows the plants a little more yellow than they are, actutally their not really yellow at all. I dont know why the pic did this...damn webcam. oh well, you get the idea. And BTW, my medium....for the clone/vegbox i use a mix of peat moss/ perlite/ blood meal for nitrogen, and a small amount of soil. This is all pre-mixed in a trash bag and red 20oz cups are filled for each seedling/clones in the future. For Flowering (while in my bloombox/closet) I use 2 liters to store the plants in, and use a mix of peat moss/ perlite/ vermiculite, soil, and bone meal. I use nutes that are 19-6-12 for veg and 6-14-14 for flowering. Here are the pics, and like i said, i will post new pics every few days and updates, so please, give me advice, ask questions, subscribe, etc. Thanks!

my medium mixes....i described what i use ^^^^

BELOW - the bottom half of my closet is the bloombox area, where i will put a 400w HPS and exhaust fans, air cooled lights, etc for flowering. I transplant into 2 liters for this stage, and will be tying the plants back while they are in veg and flowering so i can keep them under a foot and a half tall. 2' tops, i keep them like a bush, utilizing every spot that a bud can grow, and keep them very short, but still produce mad amounts of bud.

BELOW - MY CLONEBOX, going to install 2 125W CFL's at 6400K (the bulbs are 14" long! and an exhaust/intake fan in this rubbermaid tub. I keep the plants in red 20oz cups, they only get 8" tall max...then i flower them, this way i can tie them down and whatnot and keep them under 2' the entire time i grow them. can fit 15 red 20oz cups in there.

BELOW - next 2 pics are all 12 of my plants, I just plants 10 more yesterday, and hopefully they will come around, i germindated them to early, and started sprouting leaves in the paper towels, a few havent sprouted yet, a few are not lookin good, and a few are probably gonna be ok. who knows, dont really care to much, they are seeds from a bag of mids. Like i said the pics make em look way more yellow than they are, they actually are a lime green color and doing very well. most of them are perky and strong, since they are out on my roof right now getting lots of sun, when i get my 2 125W CFL's for my clonebox/veg box i will put all of them in there. under about 20 hrs of light a day. This will be next week, ill be getting my 400W HPS for my closet and the 2 125W 6400K CFL's for the vegbox. will have pics when i get em :)

a few look droopy, as i the morning just started, and they havent had but a half hr of light yet today, during the middle of the day they all stand straight up and perk up, they are doing really well, and im proud of myself :)

so that is all 12 of my plants, doing well, and my setup so far, like i said next week's my bday and with that money ill be getting my lights and setup finished. I will be posting pics atleats twice a week to show progress all the way until harvest. hope you enjoy, and please, comment, advise me, criticize me, ask questions, whatever. I need it. thanks, and peace! :bigjoint:

:o:o:o Found a purple amethyst in my attic today, in a box, among a bunch of seashells. The webcam photo SUCKS, but it actually is a really nice stone...about 3" long x1" and 2" in spots wide...its got a lot of really nice stones in it. and Apparently on the hardness scale its a 9 :) can make a wire wrap w/ it :) can make some sick jewelry with it.:weed::clap:

ok, well, i transplanted today, into my new soil mix. the 12 i was growing was in basic potting soil, which got really clumpy and clay like so i bought some perlite, vermiculite, peat moss, blood meal, and bone meal, mixed it up and transplanted, same size containers, but i wanted to get a look at the roots, they are getting nice rootballs, so i think the transplanting helped. i managed to sit the roots higher in the cups than where they were in the others. i also only have 11 plants that are doing really well, one wilted and died about 2 days ago. i also have 5 seedlings of another strain growing right now next to the others. i would post pics, but it looks just the same. the cups weigh a lot, A LOT less, which is nice, lots of more air and whatnot for the roots. plants are looking great, and tommorrow ill get a pic to see how the transplant really affected them. thats the only way to tell...wait and see. ill have pics tom. (they are growing second set of leaves really nicely)

yea...i had to cull one of the plants about 3 days ago....super wilted...but i did a transplant yesterday, and woke up today, oh my god they are perky as hell! im going to post a pic here in about an hr or so...so check back if ya want. their third set of leaves are getting almost as big as the second...they are all bright green no yellow at all and really really perky....im about to order my 400W HPS with MH conversion bulb here in a day or so...so that should get hung up before too long....i think i just want to leave my plants outside for their entire veg process. just because the sunlight is free, theres tons of it everyday on my roof....and they seem to take really well to being on the roof. they are going to be strong because of the constant light breeze, which will help em as well. there is also no bugs up there, since its a roof/patio thing. there is basically a door off a bedroom here and there is a patio above the sunroom. where the roof would be. if that makes any sense at all.

but back to the plants. i transplanted yesterday and the cups weigh about less than half of what they did. i was stupid and started them in some thick potting soil, since i just wanted to get started and it was all i had at the time.

transplanted them to - peat moss, perlite, vermiculite, bone and blood meal, mild nutes, and small amount of soil mixed in a big ass 40 or 50 gal container. got lots of medium for future grows...anyone know if soil goes bad after a while? hope not...:weed: anyways ill get pics up sometime today hopefully sooner than later. check back in a few :P peace!:clap::clap:

Ok, so as i said heres the pics. transplanted yesterday, have 11 left. just went out there to get em to take pics on my shitty webcam and one looks wilted. oh well, that leaves me with ten, and 4 healthy seedlings that are 4 days old. no pics of those though...no need i figured. All of the plants look exactly the same pretty much, but one, is wilted, and one, the leaves are SLIGHTLY curled....hope its ok....new soil probably shocked em, but like i said the rest are perky and doing great. sorry for quality of webcam. but the plants are green and healthy, they all look same, so i only took 3 or 4 pics... of one or two each.

PIC 1 - Two of the 10 healthy. As you can see the third set of leaves is coming in nicely. getting very big for their age. atleast i think :P

PIC 2 & 3, Just a couple random plants. they all look the same so i only took a few pics of a few plants. you get the idea...

Pic 4, the wilted one, if it doesnt get much better ill cull it. hell, i only have so much room anyways, hope the rest are fems!!!!

so there you have it...pics in a few days...

wow. i wish i had a better camera. so the one that wilted....looks completely healthy!!! i think it had to much water and now it dried out some...because it was ok this morning, by 11 it wilted, and now, around 1 its perky as any other one. so im glad to say i have 11 very healthy plants. a little yellow on the tips of one plant but hey its all good. i just have a goal of 4-6 decent female with a 400w hps light hopefully get atleast a half an elbow mabye a whole one if everything goes right...high hopes you think? or is it realistic? lemme know. btw they are all bright green and standing straight up with their leaves pointing toward the sky! im so happy :P cant wait to harvest!

my camera takes away the green-ness and makes em all look kinda dark green and yellow...for some reason, they are not that shitty looking lol....they look really bright in the sunlight :) even brighter under a cfl...almost neon green
