got my 90w LED today :bigjoint:

hopefully i'll see some good results with the generation 3 version. My box was getting very hot so i turned off the hps until my new fan comes. i emailed htgsupply today because their usually lightning fast shipping is seriously lacking.

so lighting right now is one 25w bloom cfl and the 90w ufo LED

the girls started flowering and pistils are starting to pop up everywhere :weed:

Finished setup

got my fan today! so i turned on the 150w HPS to go along with the 90w LED. the temp has jumed from 82 to 89! any suggestions on how to bring down temp? i was considering putting all the plants on top of a window fan blowing air up towards the exhaust/carbonfilter

You kind of have to play with the angles and believe it or not just from the direction of the air it will cool it down.. Try blowing air, "not to strong" in between the canopy and the light and see if that works..

thanks SmeLLy, i think i got it to a manageable level (~84)

in other news..

i want to try a scrog so i added the screen today after i transfered my girls to gallon pots

Looks good, I've never done scrog but I would like to try it!

Give her more nutes. And remember autos go straight to flower so give them bloom nutes not vege nutes. And LST will help increase yield but don't bother topping or pruning an auto. They have been bred for a main cola shape and wont respond well to any defoliation techniques due to their short lifespan.

i gave them tiger bloom nutes shortly after that last pic was taken. they look tons better now. back to that lush green. i'll put a new pic up tomorrow and that will bring us to 4 weeks. also, i wasnt planning on topping it. i have only been taking off the dead leaves from the bottom of the plant. for lst i plan to just weave the plants in and out through the screen to spread out some bud cites

ive heard the buds would be too fluffy. im trying to pull 6 zips for total weight between the 5 easyryders and the one haze. figured i would want more light.

pics from week 4. i decided to ditch the scrog. i'll wait til i have a grow or two under my belt first. im still lsting tho. just tying down now.

my babies (2 weeks old) middle is haze, other 2 are easys

what do you think about the stretch of the babies? should i move the LED closer? its aboout 9 inch away now? here's a pic. left is haze, right is easy

They look good. I'm also growing under a 150w hps. Mines are a good 1ft close to being on 2ft. I'll be subbed on this. I'm on third week of flowering.

glad to have everyone following along!

yesterday was the start of week 5, half way done with the first three girls! its week 3 with the other three. they are going strong. started adding nutes to them a few days ago.

right now if have 150w hps, 90w ufo led, (2)25w cfl (one bloom, one veg) all in the box. the cfls are mainly for side lighting on my 5 week runt to help boost it along a little.
