Hey guys im growing some bagseed i got a while ago, only germd one seed, and she turned out to be a girl
after a relatively short vegging cycle, i got her flowering under 5 x 23w 2700k, 1 x 23w 6100k and 1x 40w 6100k.
My girls been topped about 5 times overall the first time just above the third node when she was flowering. you can see where shes at now, id say im doin pretty good for a low budget first effort
My lighting set up
exhaust fans
first top
under nug
inside of the box
close up of the nuggies
got 2 more seeds in the dixie cups, gonna flower till they show sex, and if weve got a female well put her back in veg.
I know the setup is far from ideal, but i think were doing pretty good for what we had.
For next time, REMOVABLE SCREEN!!! also we didnt think out how we were gonna make our flushing happen, turns out with our setup its a big pain. next time build a catch basin with a hose out to a reservoir to catch excess water. also more 40w lights, the plants love em. maybe some more fans? not sure. that big one moves 79 cfm, and my box is only 14 cuft. any tips and tricks? what do you guys think?
edit: also for nextt time, some lights hanging over that one gaping hole. the outside nugs are doing noticeably better than the ones slightly further from the bulbs. i would say no buds are further than 4 inches from a light
