these pics are at 2 weeks 5 days old. had a few kinks with temp and watering at the beginning but it seems like everythings going well right now. the temps good, the last time we watered was sunday n the soil was still a little damp right under the service so waiting till tomorrow to water. their under a 400 watt MH, sitting about 12 inches above. i took a pic of the temp and humidity when the light was on today. the temp was 74 and humidity at 53. does anybody have any feedback to help? anything else im missing?? when should i start using the nutes?

Nice babies... What strain? You need a fan if you don't have one already. But you can mix a really weak nute solution in a squirt bottle with some soda water (not club soda, it contains alot of sodium and the salts can build up in the soil and damage your plant) the sparkleing water will give your plants all the Co2 they need while introducing the nutrients. Good luck and invest in HPS for flowering!

yes put some perlite into the soil,and some pebbles and in the bottom 2".
cos your soil is a little green,mouldy in pic 1.

mm im not sure what strain exactly. i know its some purple from a club in Berkley. but yea i do already have a fan blowing on the plants n circulating the air in the room. so would italian soda work for the soda or co2 u said? just plain with no flavoring. how would i mix in the perlite? and how much? w/o damaging the plant roots. just put it on top? or mix it in?

It looks like your plants are recovering nicely. Twelve inches sounds about right for a 400w MH but the stem does look a bit elongated for using 400w lights. Did it stretch while you were having troubles? Or did it stretch like that recently? If the stem growth was recent, you may want to lower your lights. You can lower them a couple of inches every day but keep a very close eye on your plants for signs of light-burn damage!

the stem stretched during the period when we were using a 150 watt cfl. it was too far from the plants and they stretched, when we switched over to 400 watt metal halide and they stopped stretching and started filling in more.

sounds like things are moving in the right direction! way to stop that stretch!

any ideas on nutrients. how long until we get to start feeding them? i have heard 5 nodes. i am going to wait for 5 nodes and maybe a week after cuz our soil has time released nutrients. but any iunput anyone?

oh man im prty far behind on this thing haha didnt see this second page. 12 inchess huh. we just raised it back up to 14 from bout 11 inches i think. just to be safe. but yah how bout those nutes when should we start on those?

i'm a bad one to ask about adding nutes. I start adding nutes (very diluted in an aeroponic system) as soon as i plant the seeds. But i think after the third week or after the 4th node appears is the generally given advice to avoid nute burn.

I start my 1000w light about 2 1/2 feet above the plants but by the time of flowering it is about 12-15 inches away from the tops.

here is a pic i took tonight of the plant that seems to be drooping the most. does anyone think this is bad or normal? am i just trippin?? lol
