first grow - 2nd day w/problems - curling/yellowing

first time grower here. ive been vegging a clone for 3 days now.

after 1st day - the leaves were drooping.

after 2nd day - some drooping has reduced, yet some leaves curled and shriveled. other leaves show yellow along the edges.

are my plants suffering from heat stress (temp between 80-85F) and lack of moisture?

should i use plain water and not fertilize til more extensive root system develops?

No fertilizer, the plants can't use it until its got some roots. 85F is high for temps, are you using any kind of ventilation? You don't keep the Rockwool wet do you? It should never be wet, just moist. Use plain water until roots are growing out of the medium and into the res.

the clone seems to be doing a lot better. finally a root is showing through the net pot (barely touching the surface of the nutrient solution) and all of the leaves are standing up straight.

however, i made a new batch of weak fertilizer (canna aqua vega A/B and canna rhizotonic) and it turns cloudy! when i first add the nutes to the water, it is sort of clear/brownish. after a few hours it becomes cloudy and sediment forms on the bottom of the bucket.

how can i fix this? (btw, the rhizotonic expired a few months - possible cause?)
