first grow $3200

@323cheezy thanks for the advice! I have done a lot of gardening for my "caregiver" thats how I got most of my experience with equipment, nutrients, soil, watering, etc.. and maintaining healthy plants from clones/vegging/flowering/mothers. I am aware that one can produce great results at a portion of the cost, and to those who do make a less expensive garden and get dank results RESPECT. yet for me I am investing the money and time spent to create a particular environment for my garden. One with continuous fresh air, sufficient light, and basic soil mixture that allows me to add the dosage of nutrient to the soil to get desired results. I want to veg/flower several smaller plants which will become very tedious but I am going to use 5 gal so at least the soil nutrient levels won't fluctuate very much.

My setup is laughable...
Never did i expect to grow buds better than u would find in the shop.....

If i had you setup it would make my life much easier....
I have to work 3 times as hard to make it right...

I attribute success to my minimalist approach.....
I wanted to add some lights n a/c eqipment, along with inline fans...
But im unemployed at the moment and dont have that kind of money....
And my breaker can only handle so much ....
So i run the same light 24 hrs..... and the plants are rotated....
This keeps temps and electrical wories to a minimum...

On the other hand making a perfect enviroment wil cost money ...depending how stealth u want to be ....
And more light will eqaul more heat , more fans, and more electricty ....
Lastly much more time.....

What im trying to say is ... dont get to ambitious....
Ive seen comercail growers get lower quality due to lack of time and to many plant to take care of.....

Dont get me wrong u maid a good investment... and itll help...
Point being start at a novice level ..you dont want to jump into advanced techniques...
Ive had over 8 succesful grows already ....
And they get better every time....
But my equipment reamainds the same...
Good luck ...

Technically this set up I purchased is my "first" grow for myself. But if you are curious of plants I've grown before, then here is a grow tent I helped set up for my uncle who is also a legal patient. 8 plants started in 3 gal buckets from seed in soil, under 2X 1000W lights, 6 weeks veg, transplanted into 5 gal buckets, 7 weeks flowering(during flowering they doubled in size) project took 100 days total from seed to cured plant material. Curing process took 9 days had the buds hanging enclosed in a seperate air conditioned room with very dry air to help speed the process. harvested nearly 1.5lbs we got "blue god" seeds from family in Canada.

also we "topped" 4 of the 8..you can see in some of the pictures which ones based on the smaller coala branches compared to the single larger ones..

nice man ....
Not bad for 2 1000's...
My club owner (mind u hes a master 10+ years) told me they can get about 2+ pounds a plant under its own 1000...

I never get more than 8 ounces a grow....
But i only use t5's for veg and a 400....
Im a hobbyiest man.....lol

Howevr now i think ill get 10 ounces every two months with this new perpetual going.....

Man if i only had the room.....

heres what my crappy 400 can do...

sorry i will deleate thse soon....

I have faith in you man!!!!
You can do it!lol

those are very nice looking plants! appears the solar leafs are stretching to great sizes. I'm curious have you tried using bamboo stakes or tomato cages to help support the plants during flowering?

no im pretty cheap and like to move em around ...
Thought about it..
Hey man u can teach me !!...
Im still learning....
Its just my minimalist approach.....
But i want maximum yield...

ps one of those is og kush...
They really strech out..... its a trait ....

I use tomato cage's simply because they help support large coala's which help put less stress on the plant. It helps the plant focus its energy on budding. Less energy will go towards supporting itself, especially with several fans blowing fresh air directly at the plants.

Fresh air blowing on the plants constantly is very important to me because plants simply need fresh air. By circulating fresh air inbetween canopy's and solar leafs the plants appear to be less stressed and grow vigorously.

hey that makes allot of sense...
Once they get bigger i think i lll get a tomatoe cage for one in particular....
Its a beast.. and takes up a whole light itself...l

During flowering I water 2 times a week (only in the morning) depends on how dry the soil is when I stick my finger into the corner of the bucket about 2" deep. I make sure to water until I see water draining from the bucket. I use a basic soil either sunshine advanced mix or pro mix add some organic fertilizer's and canna nutrients b/c of the website guide and "canna" android application which makes it very simply to know how much nutrients to use. I have also experimented with doing little things to keep plants healthy. whether that would be bending branches so lower canopy's can access light, trimming occasionally during vegging cycle, and during watering in the morning I like to plug in my ipod and play "Easy Star All-Stars dubside of the moon"..I mean technically it isn't really doing anything for the plants necessarily..but watering in the morning and playing reggae or classical music like Beethoven for my plant's is just my approach, usually between 1030-11am twice a week.
