First grow 4x4 tent 400w/mh 600w/hps

I thought about that setup but was afraid that it would be too loud, ducting both sides of the fan really quiets things down. Veg for 8 weeks in a 4x4 tent?
I don't know if i have some concept wrong because several people have asked about the setup I have a 4" Vortex fan blowing fresh air in the tent and a carbon filter -> 6" fan -> sealed hood light -> out the tent. Here is a drawing to explain the setup hehe...

Hey dude thanks for checking out my thread; I'm just stopping in to spread some love your way. Read through the whole thread it looks like things are going good. I love that you had an ikea table in there; such a cultured grow box! I love your setup very similar to mine. It is super cool to see you all excited and curious; great characteristics to have in life not just growing. Anyway I will keep checking in excited to see the transformation after you flip. I by no means know a lot about growing but will try to add my 2 cents if I can! Keep it up!!!

Looking nice! Have you noticed any difference using airpot instead of smart pot? What strain are those ladies? How many days are you planning on leaving the ladies in 3gal pots before flipping to 12/12?
I would be stoked to get those results on my first run!
Its amazing how marijuana isn’t addicting but growing sure is. First thing when I get home/wake up go check on the ladies they are “constantly” on my mind haha. As I posted on my first entry the main reason for me to document it is not only to record the progress for future reference but mainly to get advice and help from you fellow growers!

Its funny you mention that, when I saw your cabinet I immediately showed my girlfriend followed with a “ Thats one classy cabinet right there ”. Im stoked to have you stick along as you said Im not only excited but REAL curious to learn as much as possible. Are you currently starting another grow?

Hello RIU, thanks for the love everybody. This first grow/journal so far is being an amazing experience!
Not too much has been going on with the ladies. Now that the topped/fimmed internode has grown out I can see how much I sucked at FIM. Only 1 out of 8 plants was fimmed correctly.
All week Ive been wondering when to flower, Ive decided to start 12/12 on 12/09/2012 to be able to learn more and be ready for an even better next batch

12/05/2012 - A serious LST session went down, 12/06/2012 will be the last 18/6 day. I will be leaving the ladies 48hrs dark and my 12/12 schedule will start 12/09/2012

As of right now the ladies are 40 DAYS 18/18 under 400W/MH.
Cannalope kush is the tallest of the bunch, the trimmed fan leaves are a failed attempt of FIM
OG-KUSH the "bushiest" of the bunch.

Keep it up bro. I'm just reading up on lollipopping, but a little late to consider that this grow. Planning to try it out and see. Good post in the techniques forum about it.

I want a neighbor that I can snag ladies from! Is it going to be your first try with coco? Im real interested in coco but didnt find much info. Not thinking about growing any medium other than soil anytime soon but if you find ANY good info and if you dont mind please PM me!
So many hours of youtubbin grow420guide, and yet I still missed almost all of my fimmings FIM is challenging, or at least for me its been real tricky.
My intent of FIM was to SCROG, neither really worked out this first run. Would love to see you give it a try!
I always saw lollipopping more for a mother/clone setup, Are you going all out? Here in Cali having a plant limit Im more interested with SCROG over SOG.
Im turning on the HPS Sunday 12/9/2012 at 6am PST cant wait to see what 54hrs of darkness does to them!
