no it will be just as fast without it, but you would be able to slow it down if you had to with the controller.
 
have a feeling might need it in the future so plans are to keep it
didnt get a chance to stop by home depot but planning to get everything done tomorrow!
 
its alright im going to try to refund it even thought its going to take longer hopefully that can happen plus it save me enough to buy 10 emergency blankets
 
had to update room so took the buckets out check it out
when light on i will show improved room :clap:

Just planted other two short riders!
Ordering more stuff Friday also for the room including emergency blankets
and cut the wire but still need real wire cutters

That looks great!

you can use scissors to strip the wires or a razor blade. just be careful. Are you putting the fan in the wall or the door?

I keep a couple rags in my room, if i get any run off or spills I just soak it up off the tarp with a rag.
 
Looking good. I just strip my wire with a pair of scissors. make a V with the scissors and rotate the wire 360 degrees scoring the plastic. then tug on the plastic sheath and it should come lose exposing the wires.

is it ok using gorilla tape instead of duct tape??

You arent taping the connections directly, thats being done with the wire nuts. the cord shouldnt get any where near warm enough to start a fire. but if your worried take it off, use black electrical tape and be done with it.

It's never a bad idea to tape the wires and wire nuts as well. That decreases the potential for the nuts to slip off. Use Electrical tape!

duct tape works great for everything! the hole in the wall should be easy. have you figured out if the door is solid or hollow?
