FIRST GROW - 600W 9 plants vs 1-4 plants 10sqft

Hi everyone.

I'm starting my first grow and I'd love some critique before I get started
  • 10sqft Approx 3x3
  • 600W HPS Hortilux
  • propane CO2 generator @1500ppm
  • Skywalker OG
  • 9 12" clones
  • 5 gal pails
  • Sunshine #4
  • Sensi 2+
Goal - 36 oz

Is it better to use 9 plants in this space or 1-4 larger plants?

10 sq feet should be plenty of room for 9 plants if you don't veg your clones. If you veg for 3-4 weeks you might want to cut that down to 5-6 plants.

any other comments? suggestions?
Don't fuck it up. ;) :bigjoint:

Damn that's some expensive ass soil man lol. Never heard of that shit. Hope it's worth the money. But no, seriously, probably the only thing I would add is you might want to invest in some superthrive. It will help them really make a big fat root ball immediately after transplant. I use it from seed all the way up until the plant starts to show buds. At that point they stop devoting the majority of their energy to rooting & growth & start devoting it to budding. Good luck with some fat buds, I'll keep following along here. :weed:

Gonna be tough to reach your goal with 1 600 I would rock fewer plants and veg longer make some bushes....you vegging with the hps?????

Would 1000w/16sqft/16 plants be better?

I want to use either pre-flower teens or veg 4 weeks with CFL or MH. Not sure on power needed and watts/sqft required.

Typical yield on a 600w is 8-12oz. Get it down well and you can hit 16. I think you need to readjust your first time goal.

Typical yield on a 1kW is 1lb.
