First Grow - 600w hps (advice needed)

Hey everyone, this is my first grow and will be flowering soon. I have 2 plants from

Feminized Larry Og x Blue Dream seeds that are 35 days old . Made a couple

mistakes, but hopefully nothing too major. I will try to include as much info as i can,

but still don't have ph/ppm meter, If you need to know more just let me know and i will

do my best!

I will try to get you up to speed on whats been happening
Right now they are still vegging and preflowering has just started, they have been under t5 light 24 hours a day

Started the seedlings in party cups with a mix of FF ocean forest and happy frog

potting soil. When they were 7 Days old i transplanted them into a 5gal container ( i

think this was too early, next grow from seed I will veg in cup longer or go to 3 gal pot )
I transplanted so early partly because i dont know what im doing lol, and because i saw the root poking out the drain hole of the cup, and roots were circling bottom of cup

For nutrients i have been using a sample pack from a company called Hydroponix, can't compare it with anything but seems to be working fine?

comes with micro, grow, and bloom nutrients ( also cloning gel included )
NPK
Micro : 3.3 - 0 - 1.3
Grow : 1.6 - 2.1 - 5.5
Bloom : 1.2 - 6.1 - 5.5

Been using RO water, and adding just a drop of ph down and about 10 ml of cal/mag + per week.

Temps High/Lo 87/67
Usually 74-80 degrees

Humidity- besides the first few days humidity has been between 45-60% and i accidently let it jumped up to 85% for a couple hours.

A few questions i forgot to ask, how long should i wait to flower after taking a clone from each? Would now be a good time to clone?


Also #3 is cassandra #4 is La Fonda, i had different problems with the first two..

Clone during veg cycle only, too much stress for the flowering. Wait until after your next nute water to go into the12/12 cycle. Everything looks good. Did you top the girls also?

Hey man, nah i didnt top them the problem was i kinda rushed things and tried to prune one.. but sorta hacked away too much and stressed it one out a little. So i bent the other one over to keep an even height at the canopy..

Alright i will do that thanks, should i keep using grow/micro before 12/12 or start bloom nutes right before 12/12

Whats up! Since i have more than enough space, i want to let my 2 girls get pretty fat big before i start flowering. Today i would like to take a clone from each, and maybe top them. Any suggestions? ( too late to top? )

Still have them under t5 lights 24 hours a day, and have my 600w hps ready to go when my babies are

Also i will buy some peat pucks/rapid rooters for the clones but i was just wondering.. Would the cuttings do fine in a party cup of soil? or better to go with the starters before planting?

Picked up a few things from the shop today, got some starter plugs a tray/ dome, and also some stuff to tie down some branches..

Took one clone from each plant, i got them under the dome and just by the window..

I think another week and i will flip to 12/12 cycle with the hps

Took my first clones just one from each so far. My idea was to make these mother plants and keep taking cuts from the better one. thats if they survive

i probably should have left more on them.. heres a picture

should probably get them under the t5s now.. going to be cooler without the cable box though

I dont have a heating pad but my cable box does a pretty good job keeping them warm
so far they have only been lightly misted and under the dome. Trying this hydroponix clone gel called MX Clone Gel and they are in rockwool starters, soaked them in RO water adjusted to 5.5 ph

Do they look alright?

Ok so last night i fired up the hortilux, its been on for a little over 12 hours now and about 3 ft above the canopy. I needed to get my clones under some light so put them in the tent too.


Temps right now are around 76 and 48% humidity (inside the tent) not sure about the temp and hum under the dome.

I really want to get another t5 light for clones, and have the other one for vegging, maybe mixed spectrum bulbs.. but gunna finish this grow first lol


Well any suggestions/comments would be awesome..

Been a week since i gave them a good watering, i fed them at full strength for the first time so i hope they respond well.. about 15ml per gallon of Micro and Grow nutes, 10 ml of CalMag + and RO water adjusted to about 6.4 pH maybe just a little lower.

I think i need to tape up the dome because its not staying very humid, could probably be a little warmer

DAY 38, this next week i will be preparing to flower, i would like to wait till the clones take ( and im really crossing my fingers that they do ) once they are rooted gunna flip to 12/12

had a hotter day, and right now the temp under the HPS is 82.5 and 40% humidity

Have some leaves dropping/curling under, hard for me to tell if its from the heat, from feeding last night, or maybe stressed from LST
