First Grow (AG PRO 200)

Alright so I think I have some nodes growing now.

Is this still kind of short?

Here's an update pic... I'ts been less than 24hrs since I placed the germinated seeds into the AG... I'm amazed at how fast this shit is growing... its actually off some red haired skunky I burned a few days ago...:eyesmoke:

I GOT YET ANO9THER QUESTION.... tHE PH LEVELS IN MY RES ARE THROUGH THE ROOF RIGHT NOW... PROBABLY HIGH 7'S... THE PLANT SEEMS TO BE GROWING NO PROBLEM... IS pH A MAJOR ISSUE EARLY ON?? IT DOESNT SEEM TO BE... ALSO, i THOUGHT IT WAS OK TO USE THE WALMART GALLONS OF SPRING WATER BECAUSE THEY HAD LOW PH LEVELS... BUT NOT SO.. THE PH LEVELS ON THE GALLONS i BOUGHT ARE HIGH!!... IS IT OK TO ADJUST THE PH USING THE PH DOWN STUFF FROM THE PET STORE...??? HELP A BROTHA OUT..

I have been using ozarka spring water and those jugs are around 6.5

pH down doesn't really work that well (at least from my experiences)

Also, I checked on my plants this morning and they aren't looking too good, I can't really tell what kind of deficiency I have right now.

I think its a combination.

I have some brown spots and what looks kind of like burned leaves, plus some yellow stuff going on on the older leaves.

Its either Mg or Nitrogen deficiency.

I thought I had a case of nute burn, but I'm starting to think they need more nutes..
 
What stage are you in right now? and how much nutes are u givin it? just curious so I can learn from your mistakes (if any lol) ........

maybe if SICC can shed a little light on the subject.... ive read alot of his threads and he seems to be gettin it done with the standard AG nutes....:wall:

Been giving my plants nutes in half tabs, I gave them half a nute tab on like wed, put another one in today and my AG nutrient and change water lights started blinking red.

So I just flushed my res out and put new water in there, air dried my roots and put a really really small concentration of nutes in there, probably 1/4 tab.

I think the pH of my jugs has finally stabilized around 6.0

I'm kind of mad at myself that I didn't check the water temp before I put it in though, the water is kind of cool (no idea what the temp is)

Does anyone know what this could possibly be?

FF is good, i use the AG tabs, so i dont ever check my PH, but i do kno its a lil high, been having some N Deficiency through out my grow, but not major,
 
Hey Lurk... how old is that one... I thought you're supposed to wait atleast 2 weeks before starting nutes??
 
My pH is high right now... I think high 6's but seems to be going ok... If I notice anything weird on the plant i'll flush out the res and put fresh water in... I tessted some Aquafina and its around 6 or 5.9 so I think I might just start tryin that water... the walmart stuff has a really high pH
 
I've never really had too much trouble with Ph in my water and all I use is simple tap water. Comes straight out of Lake Mead. We like to call it Lake Mead Swill. I think Jimmy Hoffa's body helps to keep the Ph down in the lake. Ha/Ha. Just kidding. You guys are making this too difficult. Don't stress over it so much and just make it simple. Use stuff you have around the house. The AG is supposed to make this endeavor cheap and easy. If you think you've got nute burn, stop using the nutes, if your Ph is too high, try using tap water. Korvette says you shouldn't use any nutes except the starter nutes (which I used in half concentration) until 3 weeks after they've started. Relax on it all a little. You're growing a weed! Don't go at it like you're growing prized roses.
 
I think I lost my starter nutes... is it ok if i just go with no nutes for now... shits groin pretty fast anywayz
