yeah im still here. i've been playing around with a new project. been takin up alot of time. i am going to post some pics tonight of the ak'47. you know the dry weight on that FLUFFY sativa was 1 and a half ounce. that sucked.

Really the smoke was no good. Oh well good genetics this round.
Yeah my early hermi chop kinda sucked too. Got you real high but 30 min later nothin.

mine got ya high but also didn't last long. came on pretty good and then it was a trippy paranoid kinda high (smoked alot). i didn't like it. ended up getting rid of all of it to a buddy for practically nothin. but i am glad that i grew a crappy bagseed sativa for my first plant. cuz like you said now its good genetics. use to, i thought all pot plants were pretty much the same other than flowering times and high. but genetics really does make a huge difference. the pistols on these ak47 flowers are alot thicker and taller. the buds are small but they are growing really dense compared to the sative. the sativa had a cotton like feel. these are hard. the trichromes are appearing alot faster on this plant than the other. when you touched the flowers on the sativa and rubbed your fingers together it felt kind of gooey. when you do the ak47 its reall sticky. you really have to scrub with soap and wwater to get it off. the smell is alot thicker to. and as you can see these buds aree tiny and the plant is alot smaller. i had wondered why my buds didn't looks like alot of peoples on here. i figured i wasn't properly taking care of it or didn't let it go long enough. its all genetics. you grow swag and thats what you get. here are some pics. sorry i have been go for so long. you can see damage on the back of the hydro plant. thats because i originally had the plants closer to the fan and the leaves would get in the blades when i moved it around for water. one other thing i have noticed since i have been going strictly by the GH schedual is that the plants can take alot more nutes than what i was originally giving the sativa (or maybe its genetics once again) but after you get into higher doses of gh nutes, the buffers make the ph more stable. i haven't had to adjust anything for a month. (plant is 6 weeks old) no ph up or down. ph starts at around 7.5-8. put the gh in it and it goes all the way down to about 5.9-6.2. later in the week as the water gets sucked up the ph will slowly drop. if it gets to low then i just been adding plain water and it brings it up. i hope these little buds start plumpin up the like sativa's did though (only thick like they are now). cuz supposively this plant should be done in four weeks if it only takes ten weeks from start to finish. hmmmm. i doubt it.

Ounce and a half off one plant isn't bad, but it sucks that you didn't like the high

How tall was your sativa when you chopped it?

you got to remember that it was trained once i noticed it was getting way to tall for the box. it was about 3 ft tall and one of the branches i trained stretched across the 21 inch wide frame and the tallest but was about ten inches. so im guessing a little over 5 feet.

ohhh and one more thing yall might have noticed is that the ufo is gone. i decided to ebay it For some reason when i moved the external ballast on it, the fans shut off. i shook it around and the fans came back on. so it had a short somewhere and one of the led's went dim at some point. so i put i explained everything that was wrong with it (didn't cheat anyone) and was able to sale it for 85. which to me was great because i think i paid 120 for it and was able to test it out for 6 months.

Plus he chopped her way early. I bet it if went to full maturation it would have been at the very least 2.5oz.



I bet they start plumping up real soon. If they say 10 weeks you can probably harvest that early. They usually tell you the earliest harvest date. Give it an extra 1-2 weeks and I bet you'll be blown away. Just go by the trichomes.

i did chop it early. didn't seem that way after6 months. but i was tired of messing with it. the reason i was frustrated witht the ounce and a half was because it weighed 230 grams wet. it was some fluffy stuff. these ak's are hard. the buds seem to be growing rapidly at this stage. they look pretty compared the the sativa

the package says 10/11 weeks from harvest and expect a yield of 30-50grams. This plant was the reason for all the trial and error. so i am letting this one go for as long as it takes. which luckily isn't long i am only going to grow auto flowers from now on. they are so easy to care for.

We all had to start somewhere B! I am still learning and trying new things. So far, I have gotten better results each time. Hope you do to!

so far so good. i am liking this one much bettter

Remember that these two ak47 plants were grown at the exact same time, under the same light. the only difference is one is hydro and one is soil.

Nope. he said it would take about a month and half or so after he got it set up to start gettin orders. Last weekend i went up there. it was the first time in weeks. so i went over to where my demo box was and opened it up and SUPRISE!!!! still not set up. i asked them what was goin on and they took me for a tour of the new side of the shop they had added on. they got a whole room decked out in mylar and hps lights and new 300watt led panels. then they had another room set up to display their nutes and blah blah blah. so they had been to busy to set it up. which i wasn't mad because i have been to busy here lately to build anything anyways. The construction businesses are goin down the shitter because of the recession and my work keeps havin layoffs. so what was once a 25 man crew is now down to ten. my work load keeps goin up and up. Its just a matter of time before they close. but the good news is, when they close i have to get unempoyment for a while (a little paid vacation in my eyes). and i know that you have to show that your tryin to get a job in order to keep gettin it. So all i have to do is go to places that don't hire felons. hahahahahaha Imagine the look at the police officers face when they go over my background check. priceless

For the past couple weeks i have been screwin around with the light schedual pretty good. I have been shutting the lights off early/late by as much as 2-5 hours. And think that i have successfully hermied that sucker cuz i snipped a little bud off last night that had a little seed in it. Now i am sure ur thinkin WTF!!! THose are autoflowers and i can't clone them. wouldn't get shit. And i don't want to keep payin ten bucks a seed from a seed bank for autoflowers. SO i hermied it to get more ak47 lowrider seeds.

This is a ten day time lapse

so i took a decent size bud off of the plant last night, to try it out. That stuff is the bomb. i got high as hell. I was real excited when i seen all seeds in it. That means i will have plenty of auto flowers to come. I can't afford ten bucks a seed all the time and then have to wait 3 weeks for it to arrive
