They are lookin nice, I usually like my plants a lil more dark green. But if it's startin to stink your going to have some nice buds if you bud them right.

i think it's the lighting and camera that's making them light like that my leaves are kinda light but i don't know how to make to darker and by "bud them right" you mean like harvesting and curing right? cuz yeah i've read like 4 or 5 different things on how to cure and what not

looking good for mg soil but it has already caused you some problems.

your yellow leaves are probably a nitrogen deficiency but its too late to fix it for this grow. next time if it happens in veg add something like a 10-0-0 nute to boost nitrogen.

when it comes time to harvest you are going to have a difficult choice. normally you would flush the soil to remove nutes and make the smoke smoother. but flushing doesn't work with mg soil - it just releases more nutes. this is the major reason people don't like mg - that and its not natural and not optimized for weed

makes sense thanks and the mix is over 3 months so the nutes are gone basically (besides the little bit i put in before i turned to 12/12 and what should i do about the nutes? and flushing? is there any choice at all? and if i just flushed the nutes out do you think that would work or would it be a water over load for the plants? and when would i flush it originally? flushing it was how i used to feed it now i brought it down a bit to 1/2 gallon instead of 1 1/2 gallon it's all in a 10 gallon fish tank... i covered the sides so the roots are effected (i hope) thanks for the info desert rat

i'm trying to avoid a "i slept at holiday inn" moment by telling you more than i know (see my signature line?) but...

what i have heard on this site from people who have the experience is that you can't flush mg at all because the nutes are water soluble and are released by flushing. they also say that the nutes will last the entire grow with mg.

so, don;t flush, you're probably going to get a rougher smoke than you otherwise would but it will probably still be better smoking than purchased weed.

one rather exotic option you do have is to water cure your bud. look it up under growfaq harvesting and curing. the water curing wll take the place of flushing and wash all of the crap from your weed.

next time use foxfarm or other organic soil.

bad day for the plants =[[[[[[ i was gone for 3 days i thought i left them enough room to grow for 2 days to check up on it and they had a growth spurt and got burnt so i was forced to top them i took these pics before i cut the stem all the way to the nodes and will this create 2 colas?

that was the after math and what should i expect from this? (i'm expecting a lot of stress) but so far they are healing quite nice

As for the MG soil. Well i can't speak from experience so I wouldn't want you to take me to seriously either. But I would think if the nutes in the soil are water soluable then they would get weaker w/ each consecutive watering. So they would get weaker as time goes on & since you say you are 3+ months into it (right?) then they should be somewhat weak now. & if you do a flush @ the end of flowering as normal then it would be beneficial. I would think if you can do a super saturating flush then while you wouldn't be getting 0 nutes it would still be beneficial.
