Okay one more Question and this might sound dumb to a real grower BUT how many finger or leafs can a plant get and If the more Is that Better?

Everythings looking good! Id keep em going because they should double in size once in flower. youll at least pull a quarter off it.

also when it comes to leaves its all about the plants genetics. the number doesnt mean anything except most plants dont get higher numbers unless theyve been vegged long.

most start with 5 then get 7 then maybe get 9 thats the common progression.

but there are strains such as maple leaf indicas aka duck foot indicas that have 3 leafs and dont get more than 5

And some sativas that take 11+ weeks to flower can have up to 11 or even 13 leafed parts hahaha

yours look pretty indica dominant but probably a hybrid with slight sativa in it.

keep up the grow!

Noteworthy Tips would be like:
Absolutely no light during darkness period.
Don't water too much.
Temps should be around 76F-88F Max
Don't feed them too much

and you should be alright

also you might wanna get some HPS

@budbro18 Thanks again for giving good info. So no need to get excited over number of leaves.. again a friend told me the more the better .HAHA I have 7 on the next set I can see them..that's why I even brought it up ..

@rippingangel Taking the tip and when I switch I will not let any light In the room . Complete 12 hrs. dark.. this is my first grow so watering is scaring me a little bit but so far so good . I'm so hoping the pic a day and some some smart growers will be able to tell from looking at them daily will be able to tell by signs of grow and leaf patterns,if i am screwing up or not ,Crossing my fingers. I'm 4 week in to it now and looking into Budbro18 starter set up he sent me in an earlier post. So going to grow BIGGER AND BETTER some day'' Thanks for the tip.

Oh no I think I see a ball on one of my top plants nodes ,,only one very small ball ,please tell me its not a male. and should I pull it out now? can I pull the ball off ? will that help? #TEAR.

I wouldnt worry just yet! alot of people think those are balls but they could quite possibly be calyxes that will have a pistol coming out of them.

Just give it some more time and youll see. also if it was a male once they show small pollen sacks doesnt mean theyll pollinate theyre too immature.

Also where did you get the seeds from?

If theyre out of a batch of good bud and there were only a few seeds then theyre more than likely female but could turn hermie.

Either way grow em out until you have definite proof
