Small update: The two larger plants went into 12/12 light cycle after day 30. They have yet to show sex (as far as I can tell), but have continued good growth as both are well over 10 inches tall and have good leaf/node production. Roots have began to show at the bottom of the container and look strong and are a solid white in color.
Small underwatering problem with the other three was corrected quickly on day 37. 90+% of the wilted leaves have resumed previous crispy and firm feel, and have risen from the droopy/wilted look in <36 hours. Only the very bottom 3 leaf nodes have lagged. Soil has dried again, so watering every other day may be necessary. Growth on one of them has improved greatly from additional light received from moving the larger 2 plants from the vegetative boxes. It should go into the 12/12 cycle within the week.
I've heard it may take up to 10 days to show signs of sex after put into the flowering stage and since 2 are closing in on that, I'm getting very anxious to see those pistols. So, what is the longest I may have to wait for signs of sex??? Has anyone had a plant or knows of a strain that takes longer??? I know some strains are advertised as 'autoflowering' at a certain age. Would these respond to an earlier flowering photoperiod??? Any advice on these questions would be appreciated, Thanks.
