I untethered her tonight, I'll give her a few hours, maybe a day, of freedom while I think about whether to retrain or let her go as is. I'm quite intrigued to see how she does, considering I thought she was a goner a couple of weeks ago.

Yeeeah, errr, clearly. But feeding bloom nutes would kill upward growth production, put the energy into packing out flowers instead So, I either continue to feed grow nutes, and hope she gets bigger with it, or move to bloom nutes and give up on getting height.

Yeah, 300w PLC. About 23" from canopy, but I let it grow into that distance. It was around 26".

Leaf temps 27.3, ambient 29.8. But that's with my jury rigged intake fan, and with all intake vents open and tent door slightly open. I got a few things planned, and a week off from Wednesday. Let's get the saw out!

Think I'm gunna bite the bullet and order a new extractor fan and speed control at the end of this week. 6" or 8" not sure yet. But double the output of a 4". Looking at about £50.

What about the cost of the carbon scrubber to match? Or you gonna get that further down the line - hold off the flip til you can afford it? To be fair, I think I'll be going bigger extraction pretty soon too. Also researching parabolic reflectors as well as air cooled, far too many options, cheapest being a couple of holes in the wall/ceiling!

Sorry for late reply dude. With the "training", the canopy is only around 6.5"-7". Untethered, probably max 2" more.

Was thinking of creating some sort of joint from card, foil and aluminium tape to maybe connect the carbon filter and ducting to the larger fan. Obviously it would reduce efficiency but would still be better than the 4". Then get the bigger filter and ducting when I get a bigger tent.

Not the cheapest price, just the first link to pop up. The main issue you would have is that your fan is pumping more cubic feet per minute than your filter could handle, so it wouldn't effectively filter the air. Stank!
I was meaning to ask actually man. You're just growing a single photo right now? How long are you planning to veg for? Thought about growing a real quick auto alongside it, while you have the space and the lights on for veg? Must look real lonely in that tent!
