What up guys! First post, first grow, hopefully og many to come. Let me know any tips, or thought y’all have on the setup. I have a couple of questions concerning light as well. I’m in a 4x4, 300 watt full spectrum led ( WITH Samsung diodes… heard that was important). Main question is- will that be enough to flower? Not sure how many plants I’m going to have, but I’m thinking around 5. Might be way off, so your input would be appreciated! Anyway, let’s see if I can get a few pics of my girls on this joint. The girls in the big pots are nirvanas Bubbleicious. Beautiful so far. The one in the solo cup is a lemon OG haze.

What light are you using? 18.75 watts per square foot is low for flower, you'll need about 480 watt to flower a 4x4. Number of plants depends how you train them, size of pots etc.

Good luck on your first grow.

IMO - you'll be needing another 250w or so for flower, with 5 plants that tent will be full, and yes Samsung is the industry leader at present, Meanwell drivers are pretty good too.

Got a Lux meter? they're cheap.

Soil, I highly recommend something like this.

I think what the replies above mean to say is 300w will get you there but more would def be better for your end product.

My guess is you have the mars sp3000?

Man I got a deal on a “bloom plus” 300W full spectrum (I guess they all say “full spectrum” now anyway) but the plan was (is) to start there, and buy another one, OR get some advice from some more seasoned growers on what to expect with what I have. Is it only the yield that will suffer? Or will quality not be there either? I have decent genetics I think. Whatcha think?

What up mane? Thanks for the response. no, I don’t have a lux meter… yet. As far as soil goes, I wanted to do my own thing. Actually, someone else’s exact thing. I was watching this cat called Mr. Canucks, and he’s got this organic soil that’s easy as shit, and his flower quality is top notch. SO- soil is taken care of on this run, but might be interested in another one if my quality isn’t what I’m on the hunt for. You think the lack of light will affect the quality or just the yield?

Oh! I did watch that build a soil guy. He’s kinda taking after subcool if I remember. Which is fuckin awesome. Everything I’ve researched about subs stuff has been awesome. This is just much easier and gives similar results, right?

Mr can't nuck is shit. He's a rich kid poser that lives close to me. He's literally a tick tock grower. The guy is full of shit and does really dumb stuff. It's all for a pay cheque. Anything he says is skewed by his corporate sponsors. So brutal people still falling for this.

I’d say he’s come a long way, there’s nothing wrong with trying his methods to judge for yourself. That’s what growing is all about learning from your own experiences, and mistakes nobody can make you a master grower. The only person that can do that is yourself & your plants. Not saying others can’t help along the way, I don’t care how much someone teaches you it means nothing if you can’t retain it, and apply it! Happy Growing

If you feel like wasting time, resources and your crop then yes by all means follow Mr cuck a nuk
If you'd like to save yourself a headache, time and weed, then follow the advice of experience. Not a tik tok Instagram Facebook grower. At least you can learn what not to do by watching that Milhouse looking mother fucker. Just do the opposite.
