First grow: bagseed indica DIY style

My plant is around 3 weeks old and in a pot with some soil i whipped together that probably isnt very good. the mixture is about 45% miracle grow potting mix (0.14-0.14-0.14) 40% sphagnum peat moss and 15% pearlite plus a little bit of perlite at the very bottom of the cup. these are all rough estimates. the tips of some leaves are yellowing and some smaller leaves are actually drying out and dying which im assuming is a nute deficiency from a ph lockout(maybe a nute burn from the miracle grow?). i dont know where in my small town i can pick up some ph test strips but im trying to find some.

im using 2x 23 actual watts cool white cfls rated at 1600 lumens each the plant is getting 24 hrs of light right now as my grow cab is temporary right now and gets too cold in my room without the lights on, there is a larger one being built right now that will have a heat control unit if needed.

im thinking of transplanting to a slightly less acidic mixture (less peat). it says you should add dolomite (sp?) lime but ive also read that cannabis likes an acidic environment?

sorry the pics are shitty quality from my laptops webcam, ill try and get better ones.

I'm not sure what your asking, but I'll throw in my two cents. You can get ph test stuff at a pool supply store. If they are three weeks old your gonna want to get them out of those solo cups soon. I would recommend transplanting into a good know soil like fox farms ocean forest. Just a thought, do you have holes in the bottom of those cups?

not asking anything. just a grow journal, or advice on the yellowing. theyre going into pot's when the new grow rooms complete, and fox farms isnt really available in the small town i live in. im kinda doing a home depot grow.
and yes the cups have holes.
