First Grow, Big Bang Femz from seed.

k well I'm putting them away for the night. They are still pretty moist from this morning so I hope they survive the night without a rewater...I added a 12" osolation fan and put the light 1" away from the tops of them. Hope all goes well I will post pics tomorrow morning. Please keep opinions coming. Thanks

Well this is getting kind of frusterating. I got up this morning and had seen that my fan blew over the two lil sprouts so they prob didn't get any light during the night. And they were pretty dried up. None of the roots are growing through the bottem and I feel like this is taking longer than normal. Ugh this is tough love.

Nothing has really changed in the past couple days...any one got any ideas of what's going on? Not as much action in this thread as I would of thought...too bad.

if i was you id pot em on , and put under flos, they can be very versitile and stronger than you think. plant em on tomorrow and theyll be fine, keep em moist.

really matty id plant em on b4 somthing else happenes. they look well big enuf now. if your not potting them on yet. keep a good eye on them, dont let em get too hot.
what lite are they under.

So I didn't think 3 out of the 4 were going to make it, so I planted just the strongest looking sprout into rockwool and hydrox. It has been a 8 days so far. I feel like it is a lil small for this amount of time...does anyone think the same? I am prob going to start giving it 1/2 nutes to jumpstart the process. Tell me all your thoughts. Thanks

looking good any pics of other 3?. in your post matt. you said you were putting them away for the nite? were do you put em?, havent you got em under 24/7?. i find this is much faster growth and seem to be much better than 18/6.

yeah it does look a little small but i wouldnt worry it will soon catch up, not sure exactly how old my big bang are but they are around 11 days, you can see em in my avvy(the two in the black pots)

i agree with the 24/0 lighting idea too, i tried 18/6 but mine much prefer 24/0 especially the big bang

I got rid of the other 3 cuz they were not doing good, and I'm trying to find a good mother. Ya 24/7 is the way to go for sure.

Those 2 in the black pot are only 11 days? They are 10x the size of mine and I'm at 10 days. What r u using for light? I think I shocked them earlier cuz their small rockwool got really dried out one night cuz I didn't water them. I think maybe I should start over and do it better.

yeah theyre doing pretty well but the biggest ones lower leaves have started to droop at the mo and the top ones are reaching up :cry:

Iv also got some nute burn on the bag seed too as its the only one potted in miracle grow soil but iv given it a little flush with filtered water so we will see how it turns out

im using a blue 125w cfl with a reflector at the mo but i might invest in a 400w mh/hps combo

Day 15...so I have learned quite a bit from this first try. I have figured out not to water them 3 times a day like I thought haha. Since I have started only watering them once every three days it seems like it has helped. Can anyone tell me why the bottom leaves are purple? Is this bad? These are not the round leaves either. I watered them once w/ nutes but I'm not sure if I am going to continue or not...do you think they are big enough now to start doing nutes for real?

i would hold off on the nutes for now and just use water, i used nutes on mine and at first they seemed to like it but i got a little burn and actually ended up removing some lower leaves off one of them

Im prob going to use just water for another week or so then go on low dose nutes and see how they respond

good luck on your grow ive got 6 big bangs under a 400w hps in there 3rd week of flowering and already they got nice litlle nugs on them. All 6 were female and no signs of hermes yet.
